As a Lebanese you’re always on the lookout for an authentic chicken shawarma and Ghassan at the Shawarma House food truck doesn’t disappoint. Creamy authentic garlic paste, delicious seasoned chicken in toasted pita bread gets my 5 stars and definite return visit.

AMAZING!!! I was in the Middle East last year for work and finding the same quality of food at home is not quite as easy… The owner is so friendly! Excited for him to bring his delicious food to Old Town in a few months!

I am giving solid 3 stars because there aren’t enough selection for toppings. Shawarma withou cucumbers is nowhere near a shwarma for me, and he didn’t have that either the chicken was dry but the taste wasn’t bad. we waited for like 30 minutes to get two of the shwarmas. But honestly, they do fresh juice available he makes them right away so that’s a plus. No place for you to sit and eat so make sure you have that in mind before you make plans.

I can’t give Ghassan what he deserves as review. Come check by yourself the taste, presentation, hospitality, and the smily/welcoming face.

Not good. The food just tastes bad. The beef had the texture of liver. It made me wonder if it is really beef. Or maybe it was marinated for so long that the texture was destroyed. I had a few bites of the beef, and honestly, I gave the rest to my dog. It was that bad.
The spices on the chicken did not work for me. They gave the chicken an odd flavor that I did not enjoy. I’ve had chicken shawarma before, and it tasted nothing like this. And the chicken was served with this odd sauce that tasted like garlic flavored crisco. It was gross.
They even manage to make salad taste bad. The salads are dressed with red wine vinegar. Not dressing. Just vinegar. Every bite is acidic. And there is way too much parsley in the salad. There is as much parsley as lettuce. On the bright side, at least the tomatoes are ripe. It amazes me how many places serve pink tomatoes.
There were a few good things. The falafel was delicious. I’m The hummus was very good. Strangely, it wasn’t served with any bread. How do they expect us to eat the hummus? The pickled vegetables were good for the first few bites. Like the salad, they were too acidic and made your mouth pucker after a few bites.
I’m giving two stars for the falafel and the hummus. Avoid everything else. Or just go nearby to Flavor Hive for much, much better food.

Amazing food! One of the only spots in Hagerstown that does beef kabob bowls right!

Buyer beware. I purchased two mixed grill meals from this vendor. I was charged a total of $45.71. When I asked for a receipt for the purchase I was informed that he had no paper to print me one. I went to his website curious as to how it could be so much. There I found the mixed grill to be $17.99. So if I purchased two of these meals that would be $35.98. Add to that a generous 10% for taxes $39.58 at most. When I brought it to the vendor’s attention he said that the price was special for the online purchases through Uber Eats. That made no sense to me because Uber Eats takes a cut from the vendor so wouldn’t you want to charge higher online as opposed to in person? That being said, I went home and brought the meals to share with my wife. When I opened it I immediately noticed the discrepancy between the advertised number of chicken pieces along with beef pieces associated with the mixed grill. At that point, I realized I had a duty to report this guy to my credit card company and also leave him a review that will hopefully teach him the value of doing honest business. I don’t normally post reviews but he fired me up with the way he blatantly lied to me when inquiring about the price discrepancy, lack of paper for a receipt, and further atrocious over cooked meager pieces of chicken and meat that were provided. Definitely don’t recommend purchasing any food from this vendor. Hopefully he changes his business practices as the internet provides a medium to keep them honest. I run a company myself and recognize how much trust between the company and customer is paramount to grow a business and keep it running over the years.

I always tell my friends and the people I know about the Lebanese Mediterranean food, and how it’s so delicious / healthy; and to prove that I always order from Shawarma house.
This food truck is one of the few places that can’t be trusted when it comes to the quality and hygiene.

Hands down the best shawarma I’ve ever had! From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away. The meat is perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. The warm, soft pita wraps it all up perfectly, and the fresh toppings and garlic sauce add the perfect touch. You can tell this food truck uses high-quality ingredients, and the preparation is flawless. The customer service is friendly and quick, making the experience even better. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or a satisfying meal, this place is a must-visit. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Don’t miss out!
