Saw a comment about racial disparity in service at this establishment and wrote it off completely until it happened to me. A couple in front of me got table service with a smile while my order was barked out by the same employee from behind the counter, bag tied up as takeout even though I was sitting down with a book and had specified I would be eating in.
It’s not any other customer’s fault, obviously: just that I’d also like to be able to enjoy good service!
I was also overcharged for something I didn’t order, but this was purely coincidental and corrected efficiently by staff (kudos).
The food was pretty good! Definitely enjoyable, definitely fresh and in huge portions. Prices can be on the upper end for a quick bite, and you 100% get value for your money.
I won’t be back personally because the food wasn’t 100% my taste, but I would recommend a visit!
I just think management might do well to invest in better training (or different staff) to ensure all customers feel welcome. Honestly, it was more comical than anything to receive this kind of treatment in 2025 in a middle eastern restaurant by Hispanic staff

Fresh food and they give you a lot on the plates !! Efficient staff and clean areas.

We came down from DFW to visit family and decided to come eat here. The food was FANTASTIC!! We have a lot of Shwarma places in Dallas, but this place rivals them all! The portions were generous and delicious! The staff was also very nice and helpful in recommending house favorites! If we come back again through lafayette, we will definitely be back!!

Great food and great service! Me and my wife stopped over to Sharwarma Guys this past Saturday while we had a break from a Powerlifting Competition we attended. I ordered the Sampler Combo which was gyro lamb and chicken w/ Yellow rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. It was delicious! I give it a 7.7/10.
My wife got the chicken gyro wrap and was really a banger. I took a bite of hers and I was surprised at how flavorful it was. I give it a 8.2/10. Good job SG

Convenient location of Johnston. Was not crowded when I was there for lunch – around noon. Lots of folks doing pickup. Chicken shawarma plate was very good and nice size portion. Clean and quick. Friendly service.

Had the combo plate and the combo wrap. Generous portion sizes, and amazing flavor! I grew up as a simple cajun country boy and very picky about trying new types of food. I’ve had Mediterranean/greek food other places before and wasn’t impressed. But wow Shawarma guys really nailed it! The chicken and lamb are seasoned very well! Lots of flavor! So if you are a picky simple cajun and want to dip your toe into the Mediterranean diet, this restaurant is definitely a great place to start! I will definitely be back! Shawarma Guys, you have yourselves a customer for life!
