My family thinks this is the best food cart at Dave’s Station. Lots of good options here. Our favorite is the Saj. Think of this as a long thin burrito with your choice of meats, veggies and garlic sauce.
The gyro and platters are also good. We like the chicken and lamb shawarma equally. Great value and friendly owner and chef. 10/10

The chicken saj is everything I want—order it with extra hot sauce. It’s long and thin (not wide like a gyro or burrito), which means the ingredient ratio is perfect in every single bite. I’d love to say I’ve tried other things on the menu, but I simply can’t bring myself to order anything else. Lovely service, too.

Oh my goodness, I discovered a real hidden gem in our local food cart pod! If you’re looking for Middle Eastern food that’s truly unforgettable, your search ends at Shawarma Express.
Right when I arrived, I loved the vibe. The whole area is beautiful and well-set-up, with a bar and a collection of food carts that create a really lively and fun atmosphere. But the real star of the show was Shawarma Express.
The food… what can I even say about the food? It’s more than just great! I tried their signature sandwich, and from the moment I took the first bite, I knew I was experiencing something special. The meat was so tender, incredibly flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. The white sauce (tzatziki) was smooth and bursting with flavor, and the bread was fresh and grilled right before my eyes. Every single bite was a harmony of flavors.
The service was also excellent. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, they explained the ingredients to me, and were very patient with my order. Even when it got busy, my food came out quickly and they were still all smiles. That kind of service really makes a difference and makes the whole experience so much better.
In short, Shawarma Express is the food cart I will keep coming back to again and again. The food is as delicious as it gets, the service comes from the heart, and the spot is beautiful and comfortable to hang out at. I highly recommend this hidden gem! You’ll go once, and you’ll be back… I’m sure of it!

I ate at this food cart about a week ago, and it was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. The food was not fresh, not clean, and honestly not even good. It tasted off, poorly prepared, and clearly handled without care. Within hours, I became seriously sick and ended up needing medical attention. I don’t take writing reviews lightly, but when food sends someone to the hospital, people deserve to be warned. What’s even more concerning is how this cart is allowed to operate at this pod. It raises serious questions about food safety, cleanliness, and oversight. As a customer, you trust that food carts meet basic health standards this one absolutely failed in my experience. I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid this place completely. No meal is worth risking your health. There are plenty of other options nearby that actually care about quality and safety.
