I really had high hopes for this places. Unfortunately, I asked for stewed chicken and got 2 curry chicken legs, old cabbage and dry Mac and cheese for $17.08…..if the standards and quality of food was better I wouldn’t be mad. But I was literally served leftovers for the price of fresh food.

Shasha’s Restaurant in turnersville, NJ the food is too die for. I closed my eyes will eating the rice. This is definitely a place to stop by, if you are in the area. However, customer service can improve.

The ambiance and vibes felt like I was having dinner at a restaurant in a tropical island. It’s a family owned business and they made me feel like family while I dined.

The entire experience was exceptionally pleasant. We got seated upon arrival, and the food was prepared to our request. The proprietors are personable and friendly as well. We have been to the location several times and we will be returning.

Getting plantain as a side was a let down. $20 for the dish and 2 sides. And they put 1 small plantain on my plate. Could have gave me 3 or 4 of them things….foods good, spicy…buy skip the plantain cause you won’t get your money’s worth

Fool me once, it won’t happen again. First off, the host stated we couldn’t sit in until 7pm. Mind you they close at 8pm, make it make sense. Two of the three items we wanted were sold out and what we did order was bland and not worth the money spent. The only thing that was great was the pinapple ginger juice, which can be purchased on Amazon.

Yup, I went two nights in a row! The snapper is banging!!! Next night I tried the eggplant. You can order with or without meat I believe, I chose meat! The flavors of this food is amazing. I cannot wait to try something new next weekend…yes, I’ll be RIGHT back! If you have an interest in delicious food prepared by amazing, happy people head online, call, or stop by to dine in to experience a delicious taste of Haiti P.S. This is my first order at this restaurant and indeed the food is delicious. I had not had such good Haitian cuisine for a while so my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. We come to south jersey once or twice a month and will definitely be ordering again. Yes, the amount of food is given is just enough for two person and I like that.

We used to order from Haitian American Cuisine (which is in the same area). We complained and stopped going to them because they give small portion sizes. They only give like 5 pieces of griot for a large order. They don’t even put the rice in a separate container. They charge the same price. I feel like the customers are being jipped, cheated. Sasha’s creole gave us a better portion size. So we are their new customer. Haitian American lost our business. Many other customers have complained about their small portion of food also. Also the food is always fresh, warm/hot. I used to get stale food back up north where we used to live. You could tell they hadn’t just cooked the food.
