Food tastes amazing. But for $20 a plate I expect more protein. Each plate came with 2 drumsticks. My husband and I come from Queens,NY and we’re used to at least 3-4 pieces of meat for a platter. Black rice and stew were so goood along with the tender chicken! But my only complaint is the portion size sadly.

delicious food. I was not expecting the oxtail to have that heat and loved it, but most of all very kind staff. it was pouring out, i wasn’t having the best day and was exhausted. although you werent open for dine in i was told i can still sit and eat my meal inside. so i was able to enjoy my meal fresh without being rushed. your kindness went a long way- 5 stars.

The real deal. Food was amazing and these guys were super accommodating. We got the beef patty, ox tail with black rice and sweet plantains, creole shrimp with rice and beans and the Mac, they also brought out a cheesecake that was really good. Was our first time there and will definitely be back. Thanks everyone

My boyfriend and I ate here tonight and the food was delicious! He’s Haitian and confirmed that it was all cooked really well! He usually doesn’t like griot but kept eating mine, while my favorite dish was the djon djon with sauce to put on top. Fair pricing and friendly, helpful staff. I definitely recommend Sasha’s!

Delicious dinner!

The only challenge was that the food took quite some time, but it was absolutely worth the wait.

Al (the owner) was proactive and let us know that the food would take a while because they had a big event last night and gave us a Haitian Patty to help hold us over.

Once our meals came, they were delicious. I had the goat and sauce with sos pwa and cabbage. It was tasty and the portion size was great.

I can’t wait to get back there and try the rest of the menu!

Man oh man, when I tell you that I was pleased with the food I got, trust me on this! I had griot (fried pork) with fried green plantains and their vegetable of the day (cabbage). It was delicious. They don’t have a lot of main course meal options, but you can’t go wrong with what I got! I’ll definitely be there at least 2-3 more times before I can really have an assessment on this place. So far I’m satisfied with this restaurant.

This was my first time eating hatian food. The woman at the counter was very nice and helped me pick out something to try. I ended up getting the shrimp creole with cabbage and black rice.

The cabbage was great, and lightly sour. I would order it again for my side. I’m glad I tried the black rice, and I can see the appeal, but it wasn’t personally to my taste. The sauce on the creole shrimp is divine. You could serve it to me without a single shrimp and I’d be happy (there were plenty of shrimp).

First time trying Haitian food so I don’t have anything to compare it to. However, I know flava and this delivered! We had oxtails with black rice and cabbage and creole shrimp with the same side. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. If I ate meat I would’ve devoured the oxtails. But the shrimp were cooked perfectly with the best sauce.

I will be coming here again! The flavors were percolating.

I had griot with sweet plantain and black rice. (I believe black rice is only available on Tuesdays and Saturdays)

I appreciated the side of gravy that I drizzled over this beautiful rice and picklese. This meal was well balanced and had me doing my happy foodie dance as I savored each flavor. The portions were generous in my opinion and as aforementioned the flavors are delightful to experience. Well done, crew!

My boyfriend and I randomly picked this restaurant. The service was great! It’s hard to find service like what we experienced today. The food was fantastic and the gentleman who took our order was confident in their cooking. They didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be back again! This was one of the best experiences in a long time. Great food, great people!
