Late Saturday I rolled in here thinking I was about to eat good. Ordered steak n chicken nacho in this giant pizza box, bbq chicken pizza, fajita burrito. Looked fine at first. Then I hit that steak nacho… man, that taste was way off. Gamey, like some wild animal straight out the woods. Couldn’t do it. Whole thing went in the trash. Big letdown.

What feels like a lifetime ago I was a fan of the Sharkys in Manhattan Beach so I decided to finally give the more local spots a try.. Still GOOD STUFF! Arguably, made all the better ’cause this version of the experience doesn’t require a long trek

Food was great and service even better. Place was lively. The only thing I recommend is, when ordering nachos. Ask for the the beans sour cream and pico on the side. From the moment I received my nachos were pretty soggy. Flavor was great but almost no crunch on the chips.

I’ve been going to this particular Sharky’s (near Valley College) since they first opened. It is our “go to” place for a treat meal, when we’re too tired to cook. The food and service have been consistently excellent. We have our favorites (fish tacos) but almost everything is good. A good place to take your vegan friends, lots of non-meat choices and all of them are tasty.

The quality is still good, and I understand the cost of inflation and everything but Sharkys already wasn’t that cheap to begin with, and as someone that would eat here 1-2 times a week very often it was really disappointing when I picked up my order today and the portion was quite literally half, even the chips were way less. I get making it smaller, but I’m not sure about half. For me they lost a client.

First time here. Honestly the menu was confusing. The worker was no help nor helped with proper information. It was like I had to Crack a code. But figured out the +5 on the menu is +5$ added for additional changes. Pricing varies on meats or specialties. Along with me ordering nachos I was asked for a half or a full…where in the menu showed no option and was confused for pricing. What was 11.95 adding +5$ for chicken turned to 18$ with tax. …nachos where good to be honest. But will give it another try and go from there for my next review.
