Just a small no-frills strip mall seafood joint tucked away off the main road. Very clean dining room with a television on the far wall that’s kept at a pleasantly low volume. Polite cashier. Food was hot and good; I had the catfish sandwich on white bread with coleslaw. Very big piece of nicely cooked fish with a modest sized cup of slaw which was good and moist. I actually had to break part of the fish off so it would all fit between the bread slices.
If you want some decent seafood on a budget, this is your stop.

Ordered the meal for two; 4 fish, 2 slaw, 2 fries, and drinks. We had the white fish. Brought out fresh from the fryer; HOT! Nicely cooked fish and fries. Slaw was good if a little sweeter than I’ve had elsewhere. Store was very simple but clean. Staff was courteous. Very good. Look forward to a second visit.

This was our 1st time visiting Sharks Seafood. I got catfish, fries, and hushpuppies and my man got whole chicken wings and fries and when I tell you it was so good. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the catfish was huge. Generous portions and reasonable prices. We will be back 🙂

Three pieces of fried cod and two sides for $12.99. I enjoy fish if it’s grilled, baked or fried, and this fish was delicious and I was impressed. I drive all over the county looking for delicious fish and Sharks Seafood is a winner! The dine in seating is tables and chairs and booths, plain and clean but nothing fancy. It’s like a good diner seating. They have numerous fish options on the menu; I even noticed fried green tomatoes listed. I know I’ll be going back to Sharks many times and sampling the varieties and menu choices. I don’t know the history of the restaurant and who started it but I’m glad they did! You can order takeout or order and pay at the counter then take a seat and then be called when your order is ready.

Outstanding!! Hard to find places like this. The food was made fresh to serve. Perfectly battered and fried and served hot and fresh. Two of us have food allergies and the gentleman behind the counter was so kind and professional and reassured me our orders would be fried with only cornmeal and separately; he spoke to the kitchen to ensure no flour would cross into our food. Those of us with allergies and sensitivities are so appreciative of the extra steps to ensure our health and safety. Truly a hidden treasure here in Louisville and some of the best fried fish I’ve eaten in a long time.

Had the tilapia fish sandwich amazing cooked on the spot came out hot and fries cooked perfectly seasoned not too much. Took home fried chicken with fries and coleslaw and a slice of strawberry cheesecake prices are even fair! Will be going back! Don’t forget to wear your stretchy pants you’ll want more after the first meal your order

I found this spot from a YouTube post and decided to give it a try. I don’t think you can compare it to a Captian D’s or Long John Silver, not a fare comparison. Closer to the Fish House like in Radcliffe and Etown Ky. I had crab cakes in my head, and they didn’t have a lunch plate, so I ordered the appetizers and some potato salad with a drink. $14.61. The breading was very light tasting with very good flavor seasoning. The potato salad was good. Not too tangy, just right. It was not a bad lunch, though, I thought it was a little pricey for what I had, I wouldn’t call it a destination spot but definitely will be back to try something else. Friendly service and a well-kept restaurant.

The counter person was very nice but he rang in the wrong food and gave me 2 catfish meals when I said Cod 2x, even though meals come with 2 sides is still almost $6 for onion rings. I absolutely find catfish disgusting and didn’t have time to take it back since I was on my way to an appointment and threw the $23 meals away. The green beans were good though.
