The catfish filets are fresh, hot, crispy and tasty. They were very busy but the staff was very nice and efficient. The small dining room was open and very clean. They offer call-in/pick up, walk-in and drive-thru service. There are plenty of side items and desserts to choose from. Banana pudding, layer cake slices, cookies, etc. The chicken wings are also delicious. Large party orders available. If you are in Gary Indiana near Broadway, this is a good place for some tasty fish or chicken.

I called in my order, she didn’t ask if I wanted the season salt and I forgot to ask for no salt. When I get to the one on us 30 across for Meijer thats when I questioned it, she at the time was answering two phone’s telling who ever was on the other ends to hold on while she fix a large order, she never acknowledged I was even standing there, to make a long story short when she realized I didn’t eat salted food, with an attitude told the cook to recook my order. Yelled out what I owed and made a nasty comment under her breath. the cook got an attitude because they had to waste food.i told them to not bother and just left. Their food isn’t the best anyway. Shame Shame.

I avoid the shark up the street from my house cause I always liked the one on 39th but after today I WILL NOT be back to that one. I paid 12 bucks for catfish fillets and this is what I get…. And I doesn’t like catfish at all this fish is very tough to even pull apart. I’m very disappointed now I have to waste money money to get me something to eat for dinner
