I recently visited Sharks Fish & Chicken at 5256 Salem Ave in Trotwood, OH, and my experience was a mix of delicious food and a somewhat unrefined atmosphere. I ordered a chicken wing dinner and a chicken sandwich dinner, and I have to say, the value for money was impressive. The chicken sandwich was piled high with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheese—I might have added the cheese, but either way, it was tasty and filling. Both meals came with a generous serving of fries, all for what I believe was just five dollars(chicken sandwich)!
While the food was definitely a highlight, the environment left a bit to be desired. The spot had a “ghetto” vibe and was somewhat dirty, which made it feel less inviting. I noticed that the dining area could use a good cleaning and some maintenance. However, the service was surprisingly quick for a walk-in order, which I appreciated.
The staff was friendly enough, but there was room for improvement in their professionalism and overall demeanor. I understand that the casual atmosphere contributes to the local charm, but a little more polish could go a long way.
Overall, if you’re looking for affordable, tasty chicken in a no-frills environment, Sharks Fish & Chicken might be worth a visit, just don’t expect a fine dining experience!

Customer service is not good order for pick up first time ordering first thing to say is “What” “What do you want” very rudely I can hardly understand them, once the order was put in I called back because I thought you need my name for pick up they still rude saying “we don’t have your order what is it?” While I’m trying to explain. Didn’t say how long it will take. Basically they need to drop the attitude over the phone if you want someone money willing to spend to try the food.

Lemonade machine contains mold on lid and tank that hold and percolate beverage. Establishment isn’t spotless, in my humble opinion they can do a better job at cleaning.

Came across town to shop at Lowe’s in Trotwood and thought we’d find some place locally owned for lunch. Sharks is right in front of Lowe’s – love good fish! I had ocean perch 2 huge meaty pieces and fries w coleslaw and bread $8.99 and my husband got 2 tilapia fish tacos $5 everything hot and fresh, nice portions and whatever seasoning they use on fish and fries is excellent! Highly recommend.

First time coming in here, wasn’t sure what to expect. Reviews were all positive, so figured it’d be fine, and I was wrong…this place is great! The food was amazing, was prepared really fast, and the staff were nice. My son loved his chicken nuggets and my chicken tender sandwich was the right combination of affordable ($5) and delicious! And their fries…their fries were seasoned wonderfully!

Me and my sister went to this establishment yesterday, I was hesitant on ordering anything but I had a taste for some gizzards and usually I only go to freshway on main street ,but since we were already there i got a gizzard meal, she ordered catfish nuggets and some wings. Its like they took the food straight out the grease without even draining it. Grease was all on my car seat where it had melted through the container and bag. The gizzards were awful, no seasoning, hard, overcooked. It was like just biting into fried flour. I will never go back to this establishment EVER!!!

First visit today on Oct 28 2018. I got the 2 for 5 fish sandwiches and my son got the 4 wings and fries. The staff was extremely friendly the place was clean, the transaction was quick. We dined in and I noticed that the random customers were pleasant to each other. When we got our food it was hot and fresh. The fries are on point and the fish and chicken were delicious. And as a bonus, we got to watch part of the Golden Child on tv while we ate. If youre looking for a good fish and chicken spot, well here it is. Do not listen to the negative reviews here. We didnt. And we were not disappointed. Thanks Sharks!

My youngest son enjoys Sharks. We love that we can order our food in advance and it will be ready when we get there. It is a family oriented atmosphere, with great team dynamics being displayed. If you want a quick bite to eat without the waiting, this is a nice place to consider. I love their catfish, green beans, and fried chicken.
