Last-minute dinner plans led to a quick scramble, but my son’s rave reviews about his favorite spot definitely sparked my excitement! I ordered 20 pieces of flounder and tried to get 20 perch, but they only had six, so I swapped out the rest for two orders of their delicious grilled shrimp skewers. It came with a side of flavorful rice; I wish I had pictures to share! I’m already planning my next visit and will definitely snap pics then. The food was fresh and tasty—worth mentioning that cooking the perch a bit longer and adding cilantro to the rice with parsley could elevate it even more. Can’t wait to go back!

The worst, costumer service was 0. They open at ten was not able to place my order until eleven. When the gentlemen came to open the cash register he stated tha I could have left. Once receiving my food it had a bad taste. I could not finish my meal what a waste. I recommend the health department stop in.

Their restaurant has decent food, but they are nasty. I saw a mouse and a roach. I this the east coast so sometimes you can’t prevent it if the door opens. But I saw employees not washing hands after leaving out the bathroom. Not worth your health.

Ordered their chicken plate with rice. Dark meat (chicken drumsticks) smaller than a chicken wing! Rice is bland and lacking flavor. Bad business when selling super small parts! Wont be ordering again. See pics!

It’s crazy to see people review this place with such low scores but let me share my experience. For the two years that I worked across the street I spent 9/10 lunches here. My order was always 3pc whiting with fries. Depending on my mood I would get a dessert. I don’t live in DC anymore but damnnnnn do I miss my meals here. Ordering here was always an experience but worth it everytime for the laughs it would produce sharks in 10/10

Across the street from what might be a HUD building?! I dunno. Ghetto. Traffic was wild hitting that left turn. But. Worth it. Ordered 13$ 3wing 1 catfish meal with French fries &coleslaw. Wait wasn’t long. Meal comes with can soda. Nice and cold. Fish fresh and crispy cooked in fresh oil iykyk. Wings cooked all the way thru. Good season but I like hot sauce on mine. If you like coleslaw get it if you don’t sub for rice.
Shop was clean. They had cakes for days. Juices. Lemonade, tea, slushies and pie.
I recommend. I would come back especially for the fish. They also sell poboys they seemed popular. Also gyros.

Sharks Fish: Im from the Midwest so Sharks needs to taste like how it tastes at home and this specific Minnesota ave location does it for me every time! I tried Forestville because I was in the area but it just didn’t hit like this location. I would say that late at night, this area is questionable but you could check if they deliver or go through grub hub or somebody. Love the wings

Grilled fish is pretty tasty. Greens are not from a can which was surprising and the greens are tasty. For a quick grab I would recommend this spot. Prices are okay. Portions are okay.

I easily ordered food from here a dozen times. The food is usually pretty good but the service can be pretty mediocre. In my most recent experience I ordered 2 catfish meals for my family. My wife noticed the catfish wasnt fully cooked. Which soured her to the idea of ordering there ever again. ♂️
