I’ve been a huge fan since his early days. His Texas style of smoking meats is key. His jawsome sides are made in small batches throughout the day. Be sure to sample taste at least 6 different sides, you’ll find it’s hard to pick a favorite. Hard not to love his mac because so much love goes into his cheese sauce. Burnt ends is always a great treat. I get it with the mac daddy. Ribs are a must try too.
I really like this new third location, very welcoming dining room areas. Even enough room for them to host your next private gathering. They serve the food on plates and even have a nice glass for beverages.
They carry Pepsi products and fresh brewed tea. Check out his pet treats, pig ears and femur bones, which are smoked for your fur babies. His staff members are well trained and friendly.
Be sure you allow them to cater your next function, your guests will be very pleased with your decision.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. And I had an opportunity tonight. It just wasn’t very good at all. I know BBQ is all quite subjective, however, this food was a solid meh. The brisket had absolutely no flavor and was rather tough. All of the food was merely lukewarm. And the sides just weren’t very good. The sauces, which were freely available, were again just mediocre; each was extremely thin and watery, albeit each had a distinctly different flavor. In all, this was a very disappointing experience. I felt that the restaurant seating area was not as clean as I would have hoped, and the table while clearly wiped down had a sticky residue on the surface. The one outstanding feature was the service staff. Everyone was simply outstanding. But we don’t eat the staff, hence, the food needs to be a lot better.
Looking back at the photo I took of my food, I must say it really doesn’t even look very appetizing at all. Due to the subjective nature of all things BBQ, I originally gave a generous three stars for the restaurant, though the food most definitely was even below that. I since deducted a star overall because the food caused some gastric distress later in the evening–I won’t go into details.

Hosted a men’s event for 50 guys at a cigar lounge. The bbq was amazing… the best I’ve had in memory. The feedback from the guys was the same. Everyone raved! The icing on the cake was the impeccable service, that began with prompt delivery. Can’t wait to take the family for dinner.

This is a family owned business serving up excellent BBQ. Their new location in Glen Ellyn is nice and has a good vibe with friendly staff. Our family enjoyed ribs, brisket, and a plethora of sides. If you are gluten sensitive, all the sauces and meats are gluten free. Pickup and catering options are also available at this location. We visited for the first time this evening and plan on coming back!

Very welcoming staff and the food portions are generous. The brisket grilled cheese was delicious. Add some of the Pig Splash BBQ sauce and you have yourself a real winner. Would definitely recommend and I will be coming back.

Fantastic food, excellent service, and very clean environment. Food tastes like it’s homemade, with high quality ingredients. The meats, the gourmet sides, and the variety of sauces are all really flavorful. My son enjoyed the food, especially the cornbread. Very friendly and helpful staff too. We’ll be back!

We got the pulled pork sandwiches with the Sassy BBQ sauce (excellent sweet smoked flavor), and their homemade pickles (also excellent), and got sides of their corn bread muffin and Mac and Cheese. A lot of Mac and Cheese fits into the small portion and it was SOOOO good. Creamy, not gritty and perfect. The corn bread muffin was also so so good. I liked how the top was a bit crisper and the inside was super soft. The pulled pork was also really good!
For a sandwich and 2 sides it’s about $20 with tip which is not bad at all for BBQ. I know they just opened but we had a great experience and I know it will only continue to get even better. Definitely worth trying!!!

We used Sharko’s catering for our Christmas dinner. We had the Turkey, Brisket and Pork all were delicious. The leftover turkey three days latter can still be cut by using the side of a fork. Brian did a great job working with me when I placed the order then pick up was quick and simple. Will use Sharko’s BBQ for dinner and catering in the future. Highly Recommended

Excellent customer service, welcoming, attentive to the customer, pleasant and gracious. Food was great as well..1st time at Glen Ellyn store but it was just as good as Downers Grove. We ordered the picnic basket Full meal for two consisted of Full meaty Slab of Ribs and 4 small sides
