This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. Let’s start with the woman running the place. She was a real pleasure to talk to, very friendly and pleasant. I had a meatball grinder and really enjoyed it. Good sauce, tender moist meatballs, just all around good. The pizza is Greek style, not exactly my jam but pretty popular in eastern CT. As a Greek style it was week done, good crust, plenty of toppings. There was just something about the sauce that didn’t grab me. I’m not sure what, just a different flavor. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 6.7.

My wife, Deborah, and I are frequent visitors to Sharkey’s. Connie and Bruce are friends of ours. Their food is excellent very single time (pizzas, grinders, snack foods, and most every Wednesday, fantastic chocolate chip cookies)! Great people and food!

Sharkeys Pizza is a very small, family owned pizza place but it’s takeout only. I usually only get the grinders here but they are very good.
