We made a split second decision to eat at this place when we were in town for a cheer competition. We made the decision based on the reviews. Wow! Was much better than expected. Beautiful location; you can see the docked cruise ships from the front of the restaurant. Our waitress Olivia greeted us with a beautiful smile and kind voice. She was extremely pleasant. Then the food arrived and our experience only got better. I had the gumbo. It was closer to room temperature than hot, but that is the only knock I have on this place. The flavor was more than enough to overcome the temperature snafu. My wife got the grilled seafood platter. It was huge so she shared. It was phenomenal! Crab cake was great, shrimp was great, fish was fantastic, rice was superb but the vegetables were at another level; might be the best carrots I’ve ever eaten. I don’t know what was in the sauce but I want the recipe.
Our daughter’s team didn’t have their best effort but this lunch made the trip wonderful anyway.

The food here is absolutely incredible!! Everything made fresh with the highest attention to detail. Our waitress couldn’t have been better. My wife has a particular intolerance for spice. The waitress and kitchen were more than accommodating for her needs. This place truly is next level with the food and service. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I will definitely be back when I am back in Galveston again.

We ate outside on their dog-friendly patio area. The staff were so friendly and brought out a bowl of water for our dog! The food was also superb.

We ordered several shrimp dishes, the platter, poppers, grilled etc. They were all great, even the fried portions were delicious and most importantly, not greasy at all!
The prices are fair and if you consider it’s at a “touristy” spot, then their prices are really reasonable.
Service was really attentive and all the staff were welcoming.
We’ll definitely go back to try some of their other dishes.

The service at first was slow. We were seated quickly but saw no waiter for at least 5 minutes and then we were just acknowledged for being there. Once we ordered the food came pretty quickly. Three of us had the fish and chips which the waiter said was one of their most popular item on the menu. I was one of them and it was okay. Too much breading for my liking and I actually had to peel it away to get to the fish. Fries were crispy but overall we three agreed it wasn’t the best we’d had.
On the other hand our friend had the fish tacos and she said it was really yummy.

A restaurant that ticks all the boxes in downtown Galveston, close to the cruise terminals and other tourist traps.
Food and service is par for course for the price point. Nothing exceptional, and nothing to complain about.

What a gem of a place this is. We stopped there for lunch. The ambiance is great. A clean, bright and comfortable restaurant. The service was friendly and prompt. And…the food…oh my …the food. We had the Shrimp platter and shrimp quesadillas….sorry no photos because we dug in right away. Both meals were beautiful, tasty and quite filling. Excellent value.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was my second to worst dining experience during my time here in Galveston. I ordered a Bob Marley and my partner asked to please make sure the aesthetics matched the taste because for me they are equally important. Well, I ended up with a yellow drink and a splash of grenadine at the bottom. I know how to make Bob Marleys and what I received was NOT it. I did not take a picture of it. I sent it back and ordered a raspberry martini…attached is a picture of it. I ordered the crab soup which was so so. My partner ordered the shrimp fondue. He found it to be salty and the bread to be slightly soggy. I was hoping for a better experience, unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me. I had much better quality drinks and food elsewhere on the island.
