What a gem! We drove from Fort Worth to visit Palo Duro and ride horses at Cowgirls and Cowboys of the West and decided to stop at Shark Beach on a whim. It was such a treat!!! We got a burger, chicken sandwich and fries which were all so delicious and very reasonably priced. We also had a chance to meet the owner and his wife while eating who were as kind and inviting as could be. They were setting up the restaurant for a murder mystery party that night and also mentioned several concerts that they hold throughout the year in the “beach space” behind the restaurant. Really cool project they have going on here that is more than just a restaurant. It is the perfect mix of good vibes of the beach and the kindness of the people from Amarillo. 10 stars!

Shark Beach in Amarillo is one of those places you walk into and instantly feel like you made the right choice. The food hits the spot, the drinks are cold, and the vibe makes you forget you are in the middle of the Panhandle. The music, the lights, the whole beach theme. It all works. It is the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than you planned because it feels too good to leave.
Brian, the owner, is the real deal. Friendly, welcoming, and running the place with the kind of pride you do not see everywhere. You can tell he cares about the customers and the atmosphere. That energy spreads through the whole restaurant. It makes the place feel alive.
The food is solid every single time. Fresh, flavorful, and served with the kind of care that makes you want to come back the next weekend. The staff has great energy too. Quick, helpful, and always in a good mood.
If you are anywhere near Amarillo, do yourself a favor and go to Shark Beach. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring whoever. This place is a good time waiting to happen. I am convinced the only people who would not enjoy Shark Beach are folks who do not enjoy fun at all. So unless you hate fun, you better get over here fast.

First time here, got to meet the owner! He was very friendly and glad to talk to us. Burgers were PERFECTLY cooked, I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was so juicy and tender, the cheese just melted in my mouth. The fries were nice and hot, and had just the right amount of salt. The drink I received was large so I had plenty to drink! Little to none wait time (was a weekday) but a delicious meal nonetheless. Atmosphere is very beautiful, makes you feel like you’re at the beach! They have events on the weekend for cover bands like AC/DC or Brooks and Dunn!

The Rock and Roll Over #KISS Tribute Band was killer last night. #TheStraySons are definitely rockin tonight …. It’s nice having a front row to the action. It’s so cool that this band is actually from #Amarillo They were awesome. Chris and I had the best time at Shark Beach Burgers … It was so freakin awesome ‼️‼️‼️ This place was packed but we managed to snag a front row spot … Which is probably why I can’t hear anything this morning. Hopefully my hearing returns before next week. I seriously can’t say enough about the Shark Beach owners and staff. These people are the absolute best. Not only do they personally greet their guest but they make sure everyone is ‘good’ and I have much respect for that, especially with Chris and I both struggling with body pains. They even had golf carts to shuffle us around and that made this event physically easier to navigate and far more enjoyable. Oh…. And guess who ended up with a drumstick

Forgot to take pics of the food because we grabbed our bag and continued on our journey to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We went on a Monday when they offer BOGO on their burgers. Got 2 double cheeseburgers with a side of fries and a large cherry limeade. The fries are literal perfection, and the burger isn’t far behind them. They were so big we were able to eat before the park and then again after. I swear my burger was even better later. It was hot and fresh when we ate right after ordering. No crowd, 10 minute wait for made to order food, and the coolest little vibe. Unique little place.

I had a good time. I saw the KISS tribute band Rock and Roll Over. I only ordered fries so I can’t say much about the food. Service was slow, but there were at least 300 people there, so I understand. The staff were friendly and it’s an overall cool place.

It was out first time there, but man oh man we’re we glad we stopped in! The service was friendly, the food was Soo delicious!! We both had the bacon green chili cheeseburgers and fries and 2 beers (roughly about $35). The burgers were out of this world! It was an excellent choice after a Sunday night drive. There is only outdoor seating, so it was a little chilly. Luckily we had our jackets and it was a good atmosphere. We hope to come back soon!!
