I thought all of the Shari’s restaurants had closed or were turned into Black Bear Diner’s. I recently deleted the app when I saw all of my reward points were gone.
As if I don’t have enough on my medical plate, I now have a hole in one of my molars and am painfully waiting until Monday when I hope the periodontist will take care of this. My personal dentist sent a new script to the pharmacy with the instructions to take the first pill immediately and then go eat something.
When I saw Shari’s was open I asked my husband to stop so I could get this medical show going. We were warmly greeted as we walked through the door and seated at a table. We learned this location never closed and several employees from the closed location were working at this location.
The menu is smaller but there were decent options. I ordered the Sourdough Patty melt and fries. Ray ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a banana cream pie shake.
Our food came out to the table hot and made to order. I felt so horrible I barely remembered to take pictures of our food. I literally took TWO pictures, so sorry.
Our food was very good. Sadly, I felt too awful to enjoy it. Ray’s burger and milkshake was very good.
Our server was wonderful and very understanding. She knew I was feeling pretty lousy and did a great job taking care of us.
We will definitely go back.

The only positive of this experience was our server. She was very sweet.
The food was absolutely awful. We ordered eggs Benedict..it was a very stale English muffin, with an egg that was most definitely hard boiled (not poached). There was very little “hollandaise” sauce and what there was , was basically just melted butter.
The ice made the water taste very off.
The host that seated us was extremely unprofessional. Sat down to take our drink order which was totally fine but then we said we just wanted waters and he huffed and said well that didn’t take long enough. As if he wanted to continue sitting. He delivered the water and straws and tosses the straws on the table and walks off. Very odd.
My husband powered down his food , I ate very little of mine.
We definitely will not be back.

Very quiet time of day at 11pm. I was the last one here. The waitress was very attentive and offered me refills on my coffee and Arnold Palmer multiple times. The food was good, especially the the pumpkin cream pie shake. I had the hangover burger with loaded hash browns and the duo bites (pickle fries and cheese sticks).

Awesome servers, quick and absolutely phenomenal food. We ordered the Denver omelette with the loaded hash browns and toast. The chef totally knocked it out of the park. Probably rated one of my top 10 in my lifetime. Certainly a meal to remember. The waitress was jenise on the spot with the coffee refills to compliment the pleasant atmosphere. I do believe this will be our new favorite breakfast spot. Can’t wait to try their lunch and dinners. Kudos to Shari’s staff for making an awesome day.

The food here is great. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to and made jokes that had us laughing easily. The service was top-notch, and my glass never ran dry.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and the restaurant felt nice. The only thing we noticed was how work the carpet was, but that’s probably due in part to how many people patron this restaurant. I went for lunch here mid week in the middle of the day, and it was fairly busy.
The desert pie here is very good.
Definitely recommend this location to anyone with a little time looking to slow down and have a relaxed meal.

The only reason I’m not giving it a one star is because of the server Kelsie she did and amazing job while the server donna just handed us off to Kelsie while she was already busy with 3 other tables that were full and she still managed to help us while Donna was just blatantly rude not only to us but Kelsie as well the food here was not what it use to be and Donna informed us that basically half the menu was not doable due to being out of product while Kelsie informed us after ordering that they were just out of the burger buns but could still do burgers on the bread I use to love coming to sharis but now I regret going there and it felt like Donna was trying to pressure us for a tip when she was just rude forgetful of everything Kelsie was the MVP this restaurant should focus on her not Donna. Will not be coming back

Food was only warm when it came out. It tasted like it sat in the window for some time. Cooked to order just sat. This wasn’t just part of the order… My wife’s food also tasted like it sat for some time.
The outside resembles the atmosphere… Garbage everywhere.
The floors inside were not well maintained and it was obvious they haven’t swept or mopped in sometime. The chairs and benches are in disarray with holes in them. They force you to sit in these jacked up seats. Look at the attached photos for this review.
Honestly I haven’t seen a restaurant in this much disarray in some time. Corporate needs to come in and investigate this place for lack of management …
The server was nice and friendly which is only why I give it 2 stars. I’m definitely not coming back anytime soon.
Update: 16 Feb 2022 –
Service is still subpar. Food wasn’t great. Came in for breakfast. They have patched their seats but it’s like a sticky patch. Reminds me of almost a duct tape style material and yes it sticks to you while sitting. (At least in my seat it did).
No idea why they don’t repair them properly. This will be the last time I come here.
Can’t pay me to eat here.

The food was delicious (definitely recommended if you like all-day breakfast menus), and it was a pleasant dining experience. It was overpriced, but maybe most restaurants in the Olympia area are overpriced these days.

Last time I spend money at this place. We used to eat here when ever we felt like a good breakfast, not anymore… I ordered 2 eggs over that were still loose with egg whites that were uncooked. The eggs were crusty and brown around the edges. The toast was dolloped with a blob of whipped butter, not spread. The hash browns were dry. I didn’t order bacon, yet was charged for it. Their water tasted like it was dipped from a swimming pool, chlorine nasty.
The glasses were small too, like 8 oz glasses, I noticed the iced tea on another person’s table that had the small glasses as well. I don’t think this place will last much longer. Sad, I can’t stand Denny’s and their greasy food. Have to find a new place. Wish I’d thought to take photos.
