A good dive bar is a dying breed and Shanks Town Tavern is the best one in Cooper City hands down. Couldn’t ask for a better spot to kill a couple hours with good people. Terry and Jen do a great job at making you feel at home.

Shanks Bar is a fantastic spot that I’ve visited multiple times, and I’ll definitely keep coming back! It’s a bit of a trek for me, but I’ve always got a driver lined up to get me home safely lol. The karaoke here is a blast, and the crowd is full of great people, though it never feels too busy, which I love. Whether you’re into playing pool, tossing some darts, or just kicking back with some food and drinks, there’s something for everyone. It’s the kind of place that’s easy to settle into, and every visit has been a good time. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for a chill, fun vibe!

Shanks is the home of the South Florida Jets Fan group meet up’s for Jets games, and let me tell you something, this place is just downright great!! As a displaced Jets fan from NJ, down in Dolphins country, I was amazed to find a place so accommodating to the Jets fan community! Terri and her staff are the best and always made us feel welcomed, even through our misery of watching the Jets ruin our Sunday (most of the time, lol). It truly made me feel at home.
