Soup dumplings are still my best choice in NJ. Today also tried some other dishes… Better impression than before. Price is still a bit high if I compare the C/P value…

Absolutely delicious food in the past several times we have dined here with my family – all the dishes with meet, seafood, vegetarian were ALL delicious! And this curry beef with vegetables in a baked pumpkin was as gorgeous as tasted great- just enough spice to make it unforgettable! We use to drive 40 min away to enjoy Cantonese cousine, and now -Shangahi is our go-to 5 min from home restaurant! Bringing here my friends for girls night out next week!

Tasty and flavorful Chinese food! We love the soup dumplings, the shredded beef (spicy!) and their lomein. The food comes out pretty quickly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our favorite Chinese food in the area.

Went there for Shanghai park and XiaoLongBao but it’s under a new name and new menu. Ordered some spicy dishes and pleasantly surprised. Good food quality.

The Pork Soup Dumpling (小龍寶) is very good. Pictured are the Boiled Fish Sichuan Style and Shredded Beef with Hot Pepper in Special Sauce. The fish was very good, but the beef wasn’t spicy at all, because they removed the seeds from the hot peppers. Not pictured is Dan Dan Noodles, which was overcooked and mushy.
I took off one star for the noodles, but I’m taking off another two stars for the behavior of the waitress. She was, in Chinese, making fun of and badmouthing another waitress, who was white and clearly didn’t speak Chinese. A couple of the male waiters were laughing along with her, but there was at least one male waiter who didn’t find her taunting to be funny. How rude! If she does that to her coworker, just imagine what she says about you, the customer.
Next time, instead of taking pictures of the food, I’m taking a picture of the rude waitress so that all of you potential patrons will know who she is and ask for different wait staff.

Their aromatic beef noodle soup is fantastic. Not too salty yet very flavorful. Lots of beef, all very tender, with plenty of greens. Outdoor seating is nice and very covid safe.

This place used to be average in food quality and horrendous in service – the latter was a consensus among everyone I know. I stopped going there for years due to that. However in recent years there’s a new owner, new deco and better service. I still won’t call it good service but it was a big improvement. The dishes were mostly unremarkable but they made really good vegetarian dishes. I was very impressed with multiple vegetarian dishes. I’d rate them 3 stars had it not been the 1-star experiences I’ve had at the place before.

Went for dinner with my Mom and Sister and the place was completely empty and what appear to be under renovations, as the sign on the door Indicated that they were under new management. We were greeted and escorted to a table quickly. The waiter was polite and the food was brought to our table quickly. While waiting for our food the restaurant became very warm (outside was 95 degrees). We asked the waiter to point the fan that was in the middle of the restaurant towards our table. He was very accommodating, but it was obvious that the AC was not working /on. Half way through our meal another family arrived , and it was clear that the manager was friendly and familiar with them. He immediately turned the fan towards their direction , leaving us without any air. We expressed our dissatisfaction and he was very dismissive and rude. It was very clear that he favored the Asian family at the other table- and not us, Latinas. Will not be back!!

The worst quality I’ve ever been. The soup was pure MSG + hot water (not even properly balanced), and dumpling has tiny meat with massive+thick dough. Obviously over priced compared to its quality.
This is my second ‘one-star’ review out of hundreds. The first one was a sea food restaurant that provided rotten crab to my kids, so they got food poisoning.

We went there for Christmas dinner. While they had a seat available, they were super busy, especially with take out. Their country had many bags for take out. They had several wait staff, who all were super efficient, but could barely keep up with the guest. The food was really good, and reasonably priced. They offered tea, but no fried noodles or Fortune Cookies . We’ll definitely be back.
