My family and I have been eating at Shangri-La for almost 20 years now. They are a delightful family-owned restaurant with excellent customer service. The servers are sensitive to our food allergy needs (we are gluten-free). We love the owners!

Shangri-La is one of those old favorites, nothing changes and their food and service is consistently good. Three of us each ordered the dinner combo meals, which includes egg roll, crab rangoon, cup of soup, and chicken wing, plus an entree. We had orange chicken, chicken and broccoli, and sesame chicken. The meat is tender and cooked perfectly. Each sauce is delicious. Service is excellent, our soup came out within minutes of ordering – and food kept coming. Our server was very attentive, professional, and personable. Great place to go when you want some Chinese comfort food.

I accidentally ordered from this location. We always go to the East location. I wish I would have just cancelled the order.
The food was loaded with grease, like it was already cooked for hours, we were only an extra ten minutes from the other location. So, this wasn’t the reasoning for the poor quality of food.
The chicken was the same way, tasted like it wasn’t even cooked to order. Needless to say, we didn’t even finish dinner. Never again. I will ensure I have the correct location next time.

I went in for lunch and got sat immediately. It was sort of busy, but we were greeted immediately. Our server was very kind and she made suggestions and recommendations. The food was very fairly priced for lunch. We had egg drop soup and sweet and sour soup to start off. I had the Chicken Fried Rice and my friend had the General Tso’s Chicken. Everything was delicious and food came out quick! I’ll be back, would recommend!

I was very disappointed in how tasteless the combo fried rice and broccoli chicken were. The prices are high so expected a yummy gourmet taste. Not sure what the hype is all about. New China Kitchen 2 is much more tasty but they were closed so decided to try this one. Won’t go back! Will stick with my fav, New China Kitchen 2 on Barnes.

Ordered the sesame beef with hot and sour soup—both were excellent. Water service was consistent, and Conall checked in frequently. Great value overall, plus I appreciated the QR code receipt and the military discount.

Great Chinese food. This is the best I’ve found in Colorado Springs so far. Plus the service is friendly and pleasant. I’ve done take out multiple times and it’s always been consistently good.

I’m not here to talk about authenticity. Because at the end of the day, authentic or not, if it tastes good, it tastes good. The soup was rich and thick, just the way I like it. The pan fried noodles were heavy with the sauce, also outstanding. A little of the salty side, but I prefer salty over bland any day. Will return for more.

I ordered from here tonight. The won ton soup was amazing. Kiddos loved the crab rangoon. The only complaint was too many bell peppers in the orange chicken.

Sorry guys. This used to be the favorite in town.
They told us 45 minutes for our order, so we showed up after 70 minutes to be safe. A total of 2 hours and 50 minutes later, still no food. Just a medium order for 4 people. Im sure the team was working hard, but your systems and managers sucked on this one. The waiting lobby was full of people clowning this place. They also stopped answering their phone line, we observed this as we waited near 2 hours past the expected time. The worst was when they didn’t even staff the desk, which would not allow customers to cancel the order.
