First time trying out this place. Normally I don’t give one star, but was very disappointed and normally I’m not to hard to please.

Appetizers:
-Cream cheese wonton (4) not much cheese in them but they were ok.
-Egg Rolls (2) almost 4 bucks a piece and probably the worse egg rolls I’ve had. So sorry, but it was literally all lettuce, and no flavor and dry. Not worth the price. Very very disappointed.

Entrees:
– Sesame chicken was good, cooked and flavorful, so I was happy about that and the only thing we enjoyed.
– Beef Lo Mein, beef was decent and had some flavor, the overall flavor was dull though. Noodles were ok and cooked well. But they only had the meat on the top layer (1 small scoop). After that it was just noodles. So definitely felt ripped off, barely any meat.

Price not worth the taste. Won’t be retuning. Very disappointed with the quality and pricing of the food. Staff were nice but wasn’t happy with it.

never have my stomach hurt painfully after eating chinese food. not sure if there’s an ingredient I am not familiar with in the dishes. I recommend if you want an affordable meal but be aware your stomach is going to rumble.

from my personal experience, I would not come back to this place. but don’t let my review stop you from trying this place out. who knows, maybe your stomach won’t rumble.

My family has been going here for 40 years. We measure all other chinese food to this. It’s not dine in, so they don’t worry about any of that….just making good food.

That little square right there in the picture is the “chicken ” you get in the chicken fried rice. It feels like you’re chewing on a slice of mechanically separated chicken squeezed out by some rectangular machine.

‘update’ the next day.

Just got out of the bathroom, thanks for the runs.

What a tremendous end to a most terrible trip to the ” twin cities”.

Never again.

I went here one time after I was lifting. It was a nice small local place in downtown North St. Paul. The wait can be pretty long, but the cooks are working hard to make the best meals. The House Fried Rice and Chicken Lo Mein are my favorites, but I do hope to try the Beef Lo Mein on my next visit. Highly suggest coming here, and I’m definitely planning on coming back someday

I would come to this place once in a while for quick food. However, they can get really greedy with their prices… The one time I wanted a container of WHITE RICE, they wanted to charge almost 9 dollars for a regular container. I advise people to go elsewhere for ASIAN food in North Saint Paul to Saint Paul. For the taste and price they charge for food on their menu, it’s not WORTH IT and VERY OVERPRICED! I will NEVER COME here again.

The first time we ate here my husband loved it. We tried it again 2 years later & was not impressed. The egg roll tasted like straight cabbage – we didn’t even finish these & the chicken chow mein didn’t even come with noodles it was rice & the chicken looked like minced cat food almost.

Absolutely delicious! This was my first time here and definitely not my last. I usually drown my fried rice with soy sauce and sweet and sour but this Spicy Chicken Fried Rice needed nothing but my taste buds.
Update: 3/15/23 the spicy chicken fried rice had changed since my previous review. The chicken is now in thin rectangle shapes instead of the cubes and the food itself has an unpleasant smell. It does not taste like it use to.
