Authentic Chinese food, quick service. The lady who served us was very warm and welcoming and took the time to explain all the dishes to us!

Not much in terms of atmosphere but honestly, the best and most authentic Chinese I’ve ever been to in the UK. There was just 2 of us and we ended up ordering over £70 worth of food but it was all worth it. Some dishes you would struggle to find outside of China. Was so happy to find them so I could finally try them. The ox tongue in particular was very good. Definitely going back to try more

Great find with a road running parallel with the High Street.
We had a starter (that was a main) that we shared – tenderlion beef with steam rice. It was lovely with oriental spices.
for main we had a noodle dish each.
i had the staple dish – beef ho fun. very tasty, but not as crispyi would like (less wok hei).
Partner had Singapore ho fun (which is normally vermincelli noodles, but they were kind enough to swap ingredients for her).
very tasty, filled with shredded meats and whole prawns.
would highly recommend.

Quick service due to being one of two tables in the restaurant, starter was ok but not as described tempura king prawns (tempura batter is supposed to be light and fluffy) wife recieved the wrong food (ordered by the other table) she had the king prawn chow main noodles had good flavour but prawns were bland, I ordered the seafood udon noodles which were fairly tasteless missing the mussels and the prawns were were vaguely warm.
Dont think I would go back

Avoid this was the worst food I have had in a very long time.
The best thing about my order was the very handsome delivery driver but it went down hill from there.
Food was late.
It was cold.
The rice was rock hard and dry it was clearly old old old rice.
The chicken balls were Luke warm the batter was soft and inside gooey.
The curry sauce was so cold it was a solid blob.
I am so disappointed I can’t afford take out often and I won’t be using this restaurant again.
The only refund offered was £4.62 and the order was £20.00.

We’ve always enjoyed eating at this restaurant, which serves good, authentic Chinese food. But we were really disappointed at our last visit with our family of five. The food was good, but when the bill arrived, we were shocked to find we’d been charged £10 for the pot of jasmine tea we’d shared. We queried this with the waiting staff but were told that there was a charge of £2 per person. Even that seemed unreasonable for a few leaves and some boiling water, but to multiply it by five to make one pot was outrageous. This left a bit of a bad taste (not from the food!) which might make us reluctant to visit again.

Me and wife just had delivery. Worst beef curry I’ve EVER had. Very fatty meat, way too many onions and what no peas? Didn’t get half way and the bin enjoyed it. Very disappointing and won’t be using again.
