Delicious!! Great Chinese take-out. The fried rice has a unique ginger flavor. The sweet and sour chicken and honey-chili chicken were balanced and cooked to perfection. Behind the counter, Gavriel is kind, pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced!

What a wonderful surprise! We were on our way to a long planned date night outing to see a comedy show when we googled closest Kosher place to our location and there it was: Shanghai Kosher is tucked away on Simpson street in Evanston. We’d never heard of it and gladly drove to it to be treated to delicious, freshly prepared, no MSG, low sodium Chinese fare.
It’s take out for now because the host, Gabriel and his crew have only been open 6 weeks or so.
But it’s definitely worth the trip…

Amazing food. Take out Kosher Chinese! Yummy! So many GF gluten free choices. We got several dishes to take out. Service was quick & friendly. Check out the current discounts on their web page.
