If this were gas station sushi, I might add a star. It was arguably the worst we have ever had. We had two premium rolls, a standard roll, and their assorted appetizer for two.
As for the appetizer platter, the Chicken Satay was overcooked and had a texture similar to jerky, not at all edible. The rib had chewable parts, but they were overcooked as well. The ragoon and gyoza were OK, but the egg roll had a weird texture on the wonton.
The rolls had little flavor. They were mushy and off-putting. We honestly could not finish them. Heck, not even our cat begged for a taste.
I hate to be so negative, and I feel like I said enough. But, if you want better quality, go to Wild Chef. Top quality, Miso Sushi. But, I cannot in good faith recommend sushi from this establishment. They don’t even have Asian sushi chefs making the rolls, but I bet they could whip up some great Hispanic fare!

this was the first time in a LONG while when I did not finish my food because frankly it wasn’t good. Spent $26 total which is more than desired based on quality. And I’m a truck driver so I’ve been all around the country and know what to compare it to.
This place needs more variety and better food in my opinion. would not come back, there are SO MANY other options where I could spend this money in Holland. Picture shows the BEST sushi that THEY have, kind of disappointed that I came here to be honest but personnel is nice

The food is good for being an all you can eat. A little pricey but not horrible. Most the food there is good, way better than it was 4 years ago. The broccoli doesnt taste like chemicals anymore, it actually tastes like broccoli so thats good. The seafood is hit or miss if its there or not. I know when we went, there was a table that took all the crabs and the crawfish, we had to wait about 15 min for them to cook some more which isn’t a big deal but it did take a little bit of time.

Always.good food. Stays on our list of favorite places to go. Clean. Friendly.and efficient staff. Lots of choices. I think even picky eaters can find something to like! Very quick to move tables and chairs to accommodate large groups. Often busy at peak times. May have to wait.

We ordered food here to go two days in a row and it didn’t disappoint. It was fresh and it was fast to pick it up. I guess the fact that they are a buffet did help. If I’m ever back in Holland Michigan I’ll definitely stop by and eat there again. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Worth a visit for sure ☺️

We had a great lunch buffet at the Shanghai Grill (formerly Grand King Buffet). We were very thankful for the multi-tiered prices for the various age ranges of our children. The Mongolian Grill was part of the buffet and a welcome component of our meal for several of us in the group. Thanks for a great dining experience and God bless you and your families.
Note, we did not try the Hot-Pot meals, and the price was about double the regular buffet for the Hot-Pot table section of the restaurant.

I met a friend here for a late lunch / early dinner. It wasn’t busy at all. Actually, we were the only ones there for a little while. The decor is nice and the staff was friendly. We shared an order of Crab Rangoons (that were mostly cream cheese unfortunately). My friend had Sesame Chicken with broccoli and I had General Tso’s chicken. Both meals were delicious and the chicken was nice pieces of white meat (no hard stringy chicken like some places). My only complaint was there was little to no crapmeat in the Crab Rangoons. We had a good laugh at the fortune cookies as mine was empty and her’s had an ad for Squatch Bar Soap.
We came back for the 2nd time and all I can add is that I hope you like sweet sauce. The General Tso’s chicken I had last time was too sweet. This time I had the Tangerine Beef and Broccoli. This sauce was too sweet for my tastes as well. My friend had the Teriyaki Chicken and she said it was good. I think my friend is jinxed when it comes to the fortune cookies because she got another blank one. Lol

All the food was extremely delicious! It was my first time having Peking Duck and now it become one of my favorite dishes. Since not all Chinese restaurants have Peking Duck, I am really glad that I got to try it here! The workers there were super friendly too, and the interior design is very unique, which makes the whole dining experience quite interesting!

Very nice Chinese restaurant..
menu only… many good choices….no buffet..
Can order wine or drinks..lunch menu is till 3 p.m….Get quite a nice size amount for your entree..
Very good..
But..
As slow as business was…had to try to get someone’s attention..and repeated a request to get a takeout container for leftovers to take home..
Really…!!!
That is unacceptable..given that fact that it was only our party of 2…and I don’t think there were any other customers at that time..
That makes this review less complimentary..

We went to Shanghai at the last minute to celebrate my mother’s 68th birthday dinner with a party of 20. They quickly accommodated our large group by providing us with our own room. The service was exceptional; we didn’t have to wait for anything, and the staff was attentive to our needs. The food was great as well. We brought in our own cakes, and they kindly provided small extra plates and silverware for us. They even played birthday music while we sang “Happy Birthday.” We truly appreciated the fantastic service we received.
