Food quality is good. Taste is authentic. This place has been our group dinner place for a long time. Owner is very kind and sometimes provides free dessert soup. They provide a lot dishes, most are good. I want to mention the fried spicy chicken, I guess because the cook might changed, it was no longer dry fried with plated peppers like 5 years ago. It is now more wet and moist which is not my flavor. Recommend following: 香煎小黄鱼,腌笃鲜,扬州煮干丝,特色羊肉锅,猪蹄,鱼面筋。

Went out to eat with my parents at Shanghai Delight in Milpitas. They have some good and other decent dishes. We ordered the Braised pork with preserved vegetables, salt and pepper pork chop, Steamed Fish in chili oil, Xiao Long Bao, and sliced beef in chili sauce. The braised pork is a little bit sweeter which I’ve had many where this is their style. It’s still really good and tender, the steamed fish, literally just melts like butter tender in your mouth. If you aren’t familiar with sichuan pepper, it kind of has a numbing effect while you eat the fish. The salt and pepper pork chop was a bit on the salty side, so if your palette is more on that side you will really enjoy it. It was cooked really well and very tender and juicy pork chops. The xiao long bao’s dough or wrapping was a bit thick and the meat filling was ok. Lots of great dishes to try here. It someplace we have come back for multiple times.

Authentic Shanghai food, which is hard to find in this area. Drunken chicken, stired fried eel, sweet and sour fish, etc. Exellent chef skills. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. Service is great. Highly recommended.

Very good restaurant, fresh ingredients instead of pre-cooked food so it takes longer but totally worth it. I’ll come here more. The xiao long bao is not so good, not very juicy, but still okay. All other dishes are pretty good.

Fantastic spot for Shanghainese food. Went here for dinner a few days ago and got sauteed sliced pork with pepper and chili and sauteed eggplant with potato and green bell pepper. Both were very flavourful, fresh, and well portioned. The pork was especially good, being very tender and flavourful. I’ll definitely be back.

Another tasty restaurant to try different items. We were not too hungry, just wanted noodles and an appetizer. Shanghai noodle and cold mushroom with tofu. The noodles had a nice texture and I liked the broth. My husband would have preferred some lime with it and probably order with vegetables. The tofu was cold as stated and it had fun textures with peanuts and mushrooms. Probably bring more people next time to have more variety.

very solid spot for some delicious shanghainese food! came here on a weekday lunch with a large group of coworkers and the staff was very easy and willing to accommodate us with no notice. dishes came out fast, and all were tasty, with a few major standouts—the fish filet, fried tofu, and the lions head meatballs were some of my favorites. would definitely come here again to satisfy my nostalgic chinese food cravings :).

Pleasantly surprised! They have good food at an OK price (Parents said it was good, I thought it was expensive). The lighting in the restaurant is also very nice and bright. Customer service is good. They are responsive and helpful. The food also came very quickly! Finished a meal feeling very satisfied.
