The portion difference is minimal, and honestly, it felt like I received more Mongolian Beef during lunch than I did at dinner. The only noticeable difference seems to be the container, which doesn’t justify the nearly $9 price increase.
In my opinion, charging almost double for dinner for essentially the same amount of food (or less) is excessive. I think one consistent price throughout the day would make more sense. That said, the food itself is very good. I likely won’t return for dinner, but I would definitely come back for lunch
Dude! Best and CLEANEST Chinese restaurant in the QC. We’ll make the drive & only come here from now on.
Also, here are updated photos of their menu. I don’t know why they haven’t been posted yet? So you’re welcome .
Hot, fresh, fast! Crab Rangoon’s are my fave. Thick and stuffed with ample flavor. Suggestion: make a SPICY Crab Rangoon VERSION!!
We’ve tried the: Sesame chicken, veggie lo mein, Mongolian beef, Szechuan beef, and the Braised chicken (which is just deep fried chicken wings.) everything was amazing, Only minor complaints- Szechuan beef was on the sweeter side, and the sesame chicken breading gets soft after it sits (which is every Chinese place lol.)
Recommendation: if you like spicy – ASK for your food spicy!! YUM, makes a huge difference! & it would probably compliment all the sweetness.
So glad we finally ate here. We’ll be back!
After a change in ownership I initially thought it was just as good but something here about the consistency has seriously changed.
It used to be 9/10 times it was great, but as of late the chances of getting a good meal has dropped significantly.
I don’t know how else to say it, the food tastes like it’s leftovers. Once upon a time every meal was served hot and fresh with ample sauce, now the food is often times tough and chewy, with no sauce. You know how that happens? Microwaved food.
My guess is that due to lack of staff at the beginning of the week they make large portions of their food, and then just re-warm it as necessary. It creates a very unpleasant mouth feel and it makes the food taste and smell weird.
When this place is good, 5 stars all the way, but that doesn’t really happen anymore. After 3 bad meals in a row, I don’t think I’ll be going back, which pains me to say.
Building: is clean and is a nice building.
Food: lunch specials are a little over 9$ but come with the entree, rice, crab Rangoon, and an egg roll.
Star rating: 5 stars because the food is decent price for the size and the staff is very friendly!
