A nice restaurant in the heart of city. It’s located inside hotel Shangri-La. Had dim sum unlimited lunch. Chicken wonton soup was excellent, aubergine puff was out of the world so were prawns and many more dim sums stuffed with exotic fillings. Service was good. Wish they do not bombard you with food one after another. That seems as if they just want you to finish ASAP. Dessert was a let down as only ice cream and one date dish. Nice place to have a quiet lunch.

We went there for the “Golden Chopsticks- Cantonese Lunch Set”. The menu had 7 courses and the food was SPECTACULAR, both the veg and non veg options. The servers were very nice as well. However, the service between courses was a tad bit slow. Now, was it slow because they were giving us time between various courses? Quite possible; we did not feel uncomfortably full when we left. The entire service took about 3 hours and it was simply wonderful. The price is also reasonable for the portions you get. Will be going back there again.

We had a wonderful experience at Shangri-La. Saheb manger was extremely polite, welcoming, and truly professional in the way he handled everything. The service was excellent, and the way we were treated made us feel genuinely valued as guests.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was equally amazing. Special thanks to Rahul and Sareeta whose service we really loved—they were attentive, courteous, and made our experience even better.

Where to start… firstly the hosting staff were quite rude upon arrival, with a very poor attitude and no customer service skills. We then waited some time before our drink order was taken, maybe 15/20 minutes after being seated. Once the drinks order was taken we then had to fight to get the attention of anyone to come take our food order, the drinks took so long to come out that some of the food had actually come out first. There was also and incident where one of the sauce lids was not placed and secured properly, which did result in the sauce spilling everywhere, including on my partners clothes, the staff then acted with complete annoyance and as if this were our fault entirely. The food itself, wasn’t great. Most of the food was overbearingly salty and each dish just missed the mark. The drinks were not of a good standard either, you would expect cocktails to be done to a high standard in an establishment like this. For the total price of the meal for two, you can most definitely go to another restaurant, and enjoy a much more delicious experience and better service from staff.

If you are dim sum lover then this is the place to be. From food to service to ambience everything was 10 on 10
Suggest you go with empty Stomch to try their dim sum bufet. The variety is vast and they all taste different and is yummy.
The Jasmin tea is very flavourful. I really enjoyed the mochi ice cream. In short a must try!

I guess you are not a valued customer if solo traveler. Great service for large tables but not me. I had to beg for a 2nd cup of tea and would have ordered more but the tea was so much I’m giving up. Sizzling rice was lame and had better rice out of a food truck. Lamb was yummy! Totally disappointed by experience. Didn’t even get dim sum because I was ignored!
