It was unpleasant to go there to hang out and then be denied entry because, supposedly, I was offering drugs to their customers. I have never done that; I am not a person who uses drugs, much less sells them. It’s disgusting how they are defaming me and making false accusations.

Suprise! Del Rio has a phenomenal whiskey bar right downtown for you to enjoy. Their selection is great, and they have a diverse menu for those not into whiskey. Either way, just come on in and enjoy a drink straight or one of their awesome cocktails. Cheers to Shanes!

This bar is ok. Now it’s pay 10 bucks after 10 to get in, kinda stupid since this is small town del rio. Also the charge is just for men too. Not sexist at all. The dance is ok. It’s small and they okay the same music as doc holidays. Drinks are way over priced. 10 bucks for a shot? Wish we had a legit country dancehall.

I enjoy this bar every time I have gone there and will continue to do so. The atmosphere and the people in there are great and they’re actually going to be expanding soon into the building next door to now include a stage for performing bands. Keep up the great work! Did I mention I have a food truck right outside the bar if you get hungry it’s great!

Visited my hometown to celebrate my 30th birthday with a group of 8 friends. We came to this bar and unfortunately did not feel welcomed. The doorman put on a hard front and seemed bothered by us. He did not give the same treatment to other patrons. The bartenders stared at one friend who walked up and only helped her after another bartender asked if they wanted to serve her. An employee in a manager shirt pointed at our table while another table openly talked to him about us. That same table stared at us throughout our time there. Just such a strange vibe. We finished our drink and got out of there. Disappointed that a bad impression of our town was made on new Del Rio guests.

Being from the big city….my first time at Shane’s Whiskey Bar I felt comfortable and came across a few friends… service was great and the atmosphere was just where my heart is …. best bar in Del Rio …. I’ve been back 4 times and each time has been better met Shane his wife and many new friends….

My wife and I went here on Friday night for the first time. There was a live band and we had a few drinks. We sat outside and met some new people and started out own Karaoke session. All and all had an amazing time. Highly recomebd going. We WILL be back.
