We were very excited to try this place! The atmosphere was so quiet, low-lit and comfortable. The service was TOP NOTCH. I ordered the pulled pork plate with fries & slaw. The meat was good, and the fries & slaw were great! We also ordered The Cowboy burger (cheese, fried onions, bbq sauce) and it did not disappoint.
We opted for the honey bbq sauce but may go with a darker sweet sauce next time.

Stopped by Shane’s Rib Shack in Columbus and had a great experience. The ribs were tender and flavorful, the chicken was juicy, and the mac & cheese was creamy and hot. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. You can tell they care about quality. Definitely one of the better BBQ spots in town — I’ll be back!”

It was my first time visiting. I heard about Shane by a coworker of mine and also seen them on Instagram. I got the chopped barbecue chicken plate. I also got an all American hamburger . A side of fries, coleslaw and burns burnswick stew. I ordered a shane dog. I guess I ordered so much they forgot to put it in the bag. It was takeout not drive through. I remembered the dogs when I got home. I said oh well consider thats they tip . Overall the food was good. I got baked beans and mac&cheese with my chopped barbecue chicken plate. The baked beans were the standard tasting baked beans. The mac&cheese was ok doable. French fries were good. Coleslaw was not the sweet kind but good. The burnswick stew was great . So If yall ever in the area stop by you won’t be disappointed.

I was served a RAW burger. YUCK. I understand that some people may prefer their food at lower cooked temperatures, but that isn’t my preference!
I’ve eaten at this location several times before, but this time it appeared to be going downhill. I ordered online, and received my meal rather quickly. The guy who bagged my food was very polite, and gave great customer service. After getting home and biting into this sandwich, I found it was raw, and I was disgusted. I contacted the store immediately to see if I they could note my name, so that I could receive the same meal (cooked thoroughly) the next day since I had been inconvenienced.
I spoke with a young woman who was very, very rude. I told her my concern calmly because I understand people make mistakes. However, I could tell that she was irritable ( I remembered seeing the young woman at the counter when I received my ordered, and she wasn’t friendly). She ended up putting me on hold to get the managers’ say in what to do. She proceeded to tell me to come back to the store so they could give me my meal over again. Their store closed in less than 30 minutes, and I refused to leave back out for the evening. So, again, I questioned leaving my name, so that it would be known that I would come the next day for a correction to this matter. She proceeded to tell me that it didn’t matter what I did, and she stated, “I won’t be here anyway”. Her statement was VERY upsetting. This location should be mindful of who they consider hiring and how they are servicing their customers. I say this to say, check your food and be aware of what you are consuming/how your food is served when choosing to eat here.
