The food is great. But there’s an issue every time I get my food there. Recently I ordered four chicken tenders. Only got two. This time and the last time I ordered green beans. 75% water and about 10 green beans completely ridiculous.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would… a good friend of mine ordered dinner for my family and 90% of our order was incorrect. We asked for garlic toast on the sandwiches and it was not toasted at all. Most of the sides we ordered were not in the bag. Also, we had three baked potatoes and there was no butter or sour cream in any of the boxes or bags. The brunswick stew tasted like all bbq sauce. We ordered two shack fries, one with chicken the other with pork, we got TWO chicken. ALSO, not to mention the pork on the sandwiches was HUGE and not cut up at all. Not only that, we got none of the bbq sauce we asked for. This used to be a fine establishment, but it is apparent that the work ethic has gone down hill completely!!

I’ve been coming to this Shane’s Rib Shack location off 81 in McDonough multiple times a week for the past five years, so this is not coming from a one-time customer.
Today my order was completely wrong. I didn’t realize it until I got home, so I had to drive all the way back. When I returned, I was told they couldn’t fix it, which is extremely frustrating after being a loyal customer for so long.
On top of that, they are now charging for sauces, and apparently think two sauces is enough for 10 chicken tenders, which is ridiculous. I also ordered a large okra, only to open the box and see it wasn’t even half full.
Between the wrong order, refusal to correct it, being nickel-and-dimed for sauce, and poor portion sizes, this visit was incredibly disappointing. After years of consistent business, this experience really makes me rethink coming back.

Shane’s Rib Shack is a hidden gem! The restaurant is not only clean and beautifully decorated but also boasts a charming peach mural.
With a spacious parking lot and a huge seating area, it’s perfect for gatherings. The food was exceptionally fresh, and the service was top-notch. ️
I’ll admit it – I prefer this one over the original! No hard feelings, I promise. This place comes highly recommended; you won’t be disappointed!

Wow! What a disappointment. Been to this location for years. The chicken tenders were so overcooked/old that the meat was yellow & stringy. Took forever, got my order wrong. Ran out of sweet tea. Management- please be aware!! We want you in the community- but something has to change

I sat and waited on my food for 30 mins, listening to the kitchen staff playing around and goofing off to get home with this for $50. Shanes used to be one of my favorites. Really hope this isn’t the future.

I have been here several times, and it seems like they never have it together. We came on here and the 4 people that ordered after us all received their order before us. When asked what bis taking so long, their excuse was and I quote, “we are waiting on the buns to toast.” If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The food really isn’t that bad but waiting over 30 mins for a frozen burger is insane! Not to mention all the other food was cold bc the burgers took so long! I understand things happen but when the last 3 or 4 times it is all the same, it is time to move on. An older couple next to us told us, it is an all too familiar thing here now.

Unfortunately I have to write this Shane’s off and drive further to use the one on 155. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered the “Cowboy Burger” only to get home and find there are no crispy onions on the burger, and no actual BBQ sauce. At least this time I did get more than one piece of bacon. It’s just frustrating to pay almost $13 for a meal, and then find it wasn’t even made correctly. Three separate times now.

The older lady who took my order didn’t even smile at me. I ordered the Mega Meal; the ribs didn’t taste fresh, I’m not sure when they were cooked. The young lady who brought out my order was friendly to me, and she was smiling.
