Been going to this location since the day that they opened. Unfortunately, the last few times that we have gone, the food has been really lack luster to say the least. By the time the food makes it to the table it is barely warm. I am not sure if the kitchen is serving food that has been prepared for awhile or if it is hot when the food is plated but then takes forever for the runners to get it to the table. In addition to this, the drink machine has been down for several months with a limit of one can/bottle of water for a standard sized drink if you are not wanting to drink tea or lemonade. The parking lot is all abysmal with several potholes right at the entrance where customers would turn into the parking lot off of 155N/S and several other locations throughout that are no where close to being level. I have also attached a photo of the disparity between portion sizes for two tender baskets that were ordered at the same time.

Cole slaw was VERY mayonnaise heavy, peach cobbler was cold and gelatinous. There were 5 staff just standing and chatting at the front desk, I ordered my food online 40 ahead, but I had to wait 10 min past my ready time? The sandwich was not very warm, and the cobbler as stated before, was cold and undesirable.

This place is absolutely terrible now. I have been coming here for many years. It used to be great. Management cared about the food, the attitude of the employees that spoke with customers, and everything that made this company successful. Apparently that’s gone nowadays because the food is well below average, the prices have gone up, and customer service is terrible. The last few times I’ve been here the food takes forever and comes out cold. The girls up front just play on their phones or sit on the counter instead doing anything productive. Today, I ordered a 4 piece tender and only received 3, my fries were cold, and the customer service was awful. This establishment reeks of carelessness and unprofessionalism.

Walked in instead of ordering online to take advantage of Veteran’s Day discount. I was pleasantly greeted right off the bat,gave my order,and was able to cash in some reward points. It was really busy,but people were talking to each other while waiting and as quickly as one order was passed out,there was another person walking in the door. The counter help kept the flow going smoothly and my wait was not long. For the business Shane’s had, everything moved very well. And the pork plates with beans and Cole slaw was great. We added a side of okra and peach pie to complete our order. Shane’s prices are very good,even when there is not a discount for Veteran’s Day. I knew today would be busy,but the flow of people coming and going was impressive. I was actually surprised how quickly I received my order after ordering it at the counter. Made it home with mine and my wife’s warm meals.Tip my hat to Shane’s staff for their quality of service and for the quality of the meals we had today. Oh yes,their peach pie is always the best!

I made my order online for 7 meals. I chose your restaurant to share a meal with my family on New Year’s Eve, but the quality of the food was significantly below expectations. My family asked why I even chose this restaurant. The bread was not toasted, the ribs were tough (almost unchewable), and I was denied drinks for 7 meals that cost almost $20. I have had Shane’s several times in Gwinnett county and the ribs fell off the bone, the bread was toasted, and drinks were included. I have always enjoyed high-quality food and service; however, the experience at the original location was very disappointing.
Update: Response from establishment stated their apologies for the poor experience and to send contact info to their email so that that they can make it right; there was no response.

We moved away from Georgia in 2020 and this is one of the places we missed. So on this trip back, we made sure to stop.
I ordered the smoked buffalo wings with fries and Brunswick stew. The wings & fries did not disappoint but I’m not a big fan of their Brunswick stew. I am a big fan of their slaw and that’s what I should have ordered instead.
We enjoyed our visit back to Shane’s and it reminded me how Shane’s is still a great value in this ever increasing world we live in. Great food at a great price is hard to beat.

I’m sure since they are so close to high school they get only school students ??? BUT
Manners matter and so should the customer in front of you ! All girls chatting away with phones in hand telling each other they are adding each other to thier instagrams

So the original Shane’s BBQ shack. I’ve eaten a couple of these in malls but I’ve never had an opportunity to go to the first one. Today. Well in Stockbridge have an opportunity to drive over and enjoy a quick lunch at this barbecue place has been here since 2002.
It’s a real country place. You place your order when you walk in and pay. Get your drink and have a seat and the server will bring it up to you. They’ve got some real nice seating and a nice area that’s screened in. Or you can go to the old original shack area and have a seat. Or you can sit outside. I guess you could also in your car. So I want a different ways to sit and eat and enjoy this barbecue. It is good. Q. It isn’t the best I had is far better than the worst I’ve had. I did enjoy their Brunswick stew.
My friend had the big daddy pork sandwich. I had the lunch chicken tenders. Everything was very good.
After speaking with some friends they told me that their burger is fantastic. So next time that’s what I’m having
