This is a honest authentic review.
It’s NOT Chinese food if you are looking for what it’s called.
The fried rice is ok,
northern beef is sweet and salty without broccoli which is not how to picture shows, burned?
dumplings is a no no where it’s never near homemade thank to 99 ranch where you can buy a whole lot in the frozen section with $14.
Not recommended and will never come again

(Can only speak for to-go orders) Rice not included with entrees, no where on the menu tells you that. Why do I have to pay extra for RICE on an entree that’s $16? Wild. Good food, but I’m never going to be able to remember which restaurants offer rice with their entrees or not.

The food was great ! My favorite is their Mapo Tofu with pork. It was an amazing taste. Their chicken curry in clay pot was delicious as well. A little disappointed on the chicken wings. It says Fried dry chicken wings, but it came out very saucy . Their service was slow that night, they were very busy and only two waiters working. They served my Mapo Tofu without pork when I ordered it with pork. Of course, I wasn’t happy about that. I’m willing to pay more for it. I politely told them about it, and they changed it. I’m glad I spoke up.
Overall, I’m planning to come back and try it again someday.

The staff were very helpful and quick. We purused the menu and picked several items to try. The pot stickers are big (like 3 pot stickers)! They are handmade and were delicious! After that, the shrimp chow mein, Shandong beef, pork fried rice, & sweet and sour chicken all came out. The portions were large and easily shared family style.

There are some real winners on this menu combine traditional and American styles Chinese food.
The dry fry wings are incredible! Other highlights for us are the Shandong Beef and dumplings. The dumplings were so good we ate them before we could take a picture.
Service is quick, plenty of beers available. This is a repeat visit spot for us

I have never had such delicious pot stickers! You can tell they are made in house. I had the curry chicken fried rice and it is sooo satisfying. The coconut Thai tea hits perfectly too. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is for the atmosphere… they have a horrendously tacky AI generated ‘Happy New Year’ tapestry hung on the wall the is incredibly ugly and in poor taste!

It has been a few years since I had eaten at Shandong. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was as good as I remembered it. Prices are still reasonable and service is decent.
Both the pork belly fried rice and the chicken noodle soup were delicious.
The fried rice had a decent amount of pork fried with a few veggies and a bit of egg. The .noodle soup was filled with home made noodles and had shitake caps , chicken and a few veggies in it as well. We ended up taking about half of the portion home.

I can only rate the food because I ordered on Uber Eats but I got the cashew chicken chow mein kung pao chicken and the Szechuan spicy chicken. No one in my family of 4 ate it. It was honestly the worst thing I’ve tried in along time. Not only was it not anything close to Chinese I’ve ever had ot lacked a good taste to anything. I hate giving bad reviews but man I spent over 70 bucks and ended up throwing in a frozen pizza.

Upon stepping into Shandong, you’re greeted with the enticing aroma of hot and fresh dishes, promising a delightful dining experience. One standout dish that captured my taste buds was the soup dumplings. These little pillows of joy are bursting with flavor, delivering a delightful explosion with each bite. It’s no wonder they quickly became my favorite.
While I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to visit Shandong, if you happen to find yourself in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out.
