BEST UNHURRIED LUNCH SPOT! Hidden in plain sight on busy Ave N near ASU is the perfect place for a slow lunch with a friend. Everything is homemade and delicious. (Call ahead if you want to have the homemade hamburgers!) The fried on sight potato chips were outstanding. The red berry iced tea was refreshing. Shana was so friendly and be sure to love on Crash the sweet dog. The only seating is a patio with tables out back and it was perfect for uninterrupted conversation on a warm winter day. We were told there are patio umbrellas for shade in hot seasons. The baked goods looked amazing (we only tried the cowboy cookie and it was very tasty!). Can’t wait to visit again!

Went to Shana’s for the first time today and had a great experience. The atmosphere is very sweet and the owner was very kind! I loved my cookies and especially enjoyed the pina colada pound cake. I will definitely be going back to try the sandwiches and other baked goods.

Absolutely superb pecan and buttermilk pie. Don’t miss this place if you’re in San Angelo. The owner is so friendly, and she has a great dog. I’ll certainly come back the next time I’m in town.

So friendly and welcoming! They didn’t have coffee since it was in the afternoon but put some to make since I was there. I also got some of their cookies and they were so delicious and homemade. Perfect desserts!

Absolutely fantastic! We had the King Ranch chicken, beef stew, dinner rolls, and cinnamon rolls and all were amazing. They were easy to prep and were a hit during Christmas. Recommend ! Enjoy!

We went in today because this was the only cake shop open on mondays, and the cake craving was hitting hard. They didn’t have a big cake selection which I would have deducted a point for but the place was so small and inviting that I just can’t deduct for not having a big selection because they have a great selection of other goodies like cookies and pies and cinnamon rolls. The ladies were very friendly and let us know that if we wanted a different kind of cake we could order one. I noticed they serve food as well so maybe next time I go I will try the food. All in all it was a great experience and for someone who doesn’t like chocolate cake a whole lot theirs was really good and moist not to mention the icing was perfect, not too sweet but definitely enhanced the flavor of the cake. 5/5 would recommend and will definitely go again. great first experience!

I always want to support small businesses so I went on a quest his week to have a birthday cake made for my wife. Stopped by chocolate drip weds at 11am and it was closed , sign and web hours say it should be open. Stopped by Shanas and was told they can’t do it till late next week. (Bday is friday) just needed a 6 or 8 inch bday cake . This is why people just go to HEB.

Food was not good. We ordered chicken salad sandwiches. The homemade bread was cold and fell apart while trying to eat it. The homemade chips were over done and not good. Very disappointed. I remember how wonderful Shana’s food was when she had a cafe on knickerbocker. Shana was not in the Cafe when we went to pick up the food.

I got 6 chocolate chip cookies for $12 that were so hard you couldn’t drive a rock bar through them. The last time I got cookies from here they were super soft. Never again….
