This restaurant has been my go-to spot for Chinese food and sushi for years, and it never disappoints. The staff is always welcoming and incredibly friendly, making every visit a pleasant experience. The food is consistently great, but the sushi stands out, especially the salmon sushi, which is always fresh and never misses. Whether you want to dine in, a cozy and quaint experience or take out, this place doesn’t miss!

Ordered delivery. I didn’t realize they used Door Dash to fulfill delivery orders. I stopped ordering from all restaurants that use Door Dash because something is always forgotten. Of course, my $6 two liter soda was forgotten. Door Dash will claim its the restuarants fault and the restaurant will claim its Door Dash’s fault. Will not be ordering from here again.

Portions are fine but the food was extremely bland. For reference I got the chicken fried rice and chicken and broccoli as well as crab Rangoon. For the Rangoon, way too much scallion and nowhere near enough cream cheese for the price, don’t even think there was crab/imitation crab in there to justify it. The fried rice tasted like nothing. Not bad, but just nothing. There was no flavor – no dark soy, no onion, no egg flavor even – just pure nothingness. The only thing I tasted was very old sesame oil. For the chicken with broccoli, the sauce was watery and lacked any sort of depth or umami. Overall not good and definitely would not recommend, it was very expensive and you can find better for cheaper in Philly.

Ive eaten at this place in person, and just made my first take-out order, and it is night-and-day. I paid $30 for this? 9 pieces of mock General Tsos chicken and 7 crab Rangoon is $29? Come on, guys.

Short version:
We came here to get a bite to eat before a jazz show at the Fallsers club. I will be back anytime I go to another show because The experience was so good!

Details:
Although I wouldn’t say the food is 5(!) stars, I’m giving 5 stars just because this was such a pleasant surprise and the service was just so excellent.
The “bad”: is not actually bad at all. 🙂
Walking in, the place is very unpretentious and in fact presented me with low expectations. There’s nothing wrong, it isn’t dirty or dingy, it just looks like the typical old, hole in the wall, restaurant -so nothing fancy. … Don’t judge a book by its cover. 😉

The good: we felt so welcome. We were kind of in a rush so we didn’t have time to linger and chat with the gentleman who I assume may be the owner. He rushed around from table to table taking orders and just being so cheerful and gracious. He was quietly humorous without being pretentious or disrupting. The rest of the staff seemed equally welcoming -Even the bartender (who we didn’t interact with) gave us a grinning farewell wave. If I lived in the neighborhood I would come back just to get to know the owner. Because:
The food: okay, the food was not “OMG! The best Chinese food I’ve ever had”. But it was still great! I was impressed that there was food for everyone: different Asian styles and, for the size of the restaurant, a surprisingly good selection for vegetarians. The food was well prepared and made fresh so it was piping hot … In an age of restaurants trying to get you out of the door as quickly as possible and serving lukewarm food to be “efficient”, I see this as a really good sign of someone who likes running their business and who cares about their customers. 🙂
There was more than enough to eat and we took home what we didn’t finish. Yum!!
Parking was easy and it’s right around the corner from midvale avenue, so it’s the perfect place to park on a Friday or Saturday night, grab dinner, and then walk to see a show.

Mediocre at best and way overpriced I paid 14$ for a general tso chicken that was extremely bland, broccoli was cold chicken soggy and it just wasn’t worth it. I pretty much paid 14$ for more flour than chicken, tso had NO CHICKEN IN IT JUST FLOUR, ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.
Staff seemed nice and on point but it was one and done for me I won’t be back. You can get better quality food for half the price a couple of blocks up in the hood. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
