Reviews
The fresh bread was amazing and paired beautifully with the kabobs and rice. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into the food. Even the desserts stood out the Persian ice cream was excellent, a perfect way to finish the meal.
Great presentation, generous portions, and consistent quality all around. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food and top-tier kabobs in the DMV area, this place is a must try. Highly recommended.
We were served by Mahmoud. He was amazing! Very attentive and continued to check in throughout the meal despite how busy they were. We ended up ordering the Kubbideh platter, and a Chicken Tandoori platter, as well as saffron ice cream for dessert. Absolutely delicious! The portions are large too, so we were able to share platters. Also, their initial bread/butter/ and spicy green sauce combo was a hit with the group, especially when you’re hungry! They also serve Halal food, so ask them about what’s halal on the menu.
FOOD: we ordered chicken and chelo kabob barg kabobs. Both had huge portions of rice and meat, with the steak and chicken cooked to tender perfection. There was a healthy side of onion with pepper and tomato. The rice comes with a crispy piece on top, without being over salty and oily. Though, if you want more of a butter taste, there is buttter that comes with the bread at the beginning!
We also had the Persian saffron ice cream and it was AMAZING. It actually tasted like saffron, with a huge amount ice cream!!
SERVICE: fantastic! So friendly, really fast, and everyone who came by was super friendly and quick.
ATMOSPHERE: worth the wait, which is why it’s always crowded every time we come (a great thing). Very good for families with large tables, can seat 4-6 and other tables accommodating larger parties. We saw people dressed up, people dressed casual, waiters are all dressed very nicely.
Overall, we love coming here! A gem of a place in the area
Pro: good delicious food, halal menu, clean restaurant, clean bathroom . Good staff.
Cons: longer wait time on weekends evening. Regular days, its pretty quick.
Conclusion: if you like to eat good halal good, it worth to wait for it
Chicken kabob was OK though I guess
