I treated my bride and my parents to Shamrock for lunch. It is appropriately named a cafe and is comfortable. Every staff person encountered was very friendly and polite. Seating for 6 at round tables or 4 at benches was available to us. We opted for a table and had copious amounts of space.

I ate there today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t get over to this part of Venice often, which is sad because I’d drop in on a regular basis. I support non-chain restaurants and this place is a fine example why. Prices are reasonable. Wait staff friendly. Don’t let the non-flashiness of the exterior turn you away; your tummy will thank you later.

This joint was busy as hell; the folks in the back were cranking out pizza like there was no tomorrow. Props to the crew! That said, the pizza was good (thin crust pepperoni) and ready in about 30 minutes. The place could be spruced up a bit but the strip center it’s in could use a cleaning up a bit, too.

Went on a Sunday morning around 7 am and it was nice and quiet. Tried the Shamrock Eggs Benny. I enjoyed it but wished the mushrooms were sautéed first. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Definitely will be returning to try some more things on the menu.

I came here on saint Patricks day just hoping to place a to go order as it’s always been my traditional to eat traditional Irish food on saint Patricks day. The staff were yelling and cursing and being rude with people on the phone. They they rudely asked the older couple in front of me if they had reservations. I just turned around and walked out. Simply asking a question wasn’t worth the rude response I would have undoubtedly received for asking it. The food looked and smelled great and the people inside seemed to enjoy it but we’re a little put off by the staff. I would love to come back and try again sometime if the circumstances are different.
