Stopped here after a long hike to get a bite to eat a stumbled upon one of the best mahi reuben’s I’ve had. It was piled high with fresh, delicious mahi, kraut, melted cheese and the perfect amount of thousand island to make it nice and sloppy! Ethan served us up some refreshing island cocktails and we took full advantage of their awesome cocktail hour. My friend also got the macaroni and cheese and let me tell you this stuff was legit! Staff were attentive, friendly and everyone there was having a great time. Cool place with a nice vibe and plenty of parking. If you go to St.John check it out!

Shambles is the perfect post-beach spot for a delicious snack and a great cocktail! The servers are always willing to give recommendations for where else to go on STJ, and are very willing to check on ingredients for all food allergies. Their updated menu lists most allergens too which is helpful! My husband has a severe dairy allergy and our waitress was able to tell him confidently what he could and could not have, and was super gracious with our questions!
Pro tip: you can NEVER go wrong here with coconut shrimp, fries, and a painkiller!!

While we were exploring St John’s we came by Shambles and it cute decor was so inviting we had to try it out cause there was 8 of us and we were hungry, we were sat at this really cool table shaped like a boat and it sat all of us comfortable and still able to have conversations amongst ourselves and not yelling to hear each other. The food was absolutely delicious and I got the grilled cheese and it came on delicious Texas toast and I got provolone and bacon and hands down the best I’ve had, between the 8 of us we all cleaned our plates and immensely enjoyed it all! The service was great and we didn’t want for anything cause they’re all so attentive to the customers and our needs. Great establishment and I highly recommend checking them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Good prices, simple no-frills menu with classic pub food, fun “sports bar on an island”-vibe. Definitely a solid lunch/dinner choice if your vacation rental isn’t down in the heart of Cruz Bay.

This is a great spot with great staff. Unfortunately, the prices have gotten way out of hand. A gluten free pepperoni pizza is now $40 without tip/tax.
I’d recommend coming in for a beer but many other options where the food is better/more reasonably priced.

Great place, great food and service was excellent. Anybody looking for a good selection of tasty food I’d suggest hitting this place up. It is right across the road from the windmill bar. The windmill bar has the best view of the whole island.

The food was great, good options for young kids. Highly recommend the Orange Vanilla Killa if you plan to have an adult beverage. Probably in the top 5 mixed drinks I’ve ever had. The sweet potato fries are so good, and if you love a tart key lime pie that’s not sickly sweet, grab that for dessert! Very glad we stopped for supper.

Shambles is a must stop if you’re headed to St. John. Owner Lauren was very accommodating. “It’s my job to wake up and throw a party every day”
And by God, that’s what they do!

Loved it!
We had an awesome experience at Shambles. It has a fun island dive bar vibe with great food. I’m a big rib fan and have had them all over, and these were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were fall off the bone tender and full of flavor.
I was planning to order the fried mahi sandwich, but the bartender recommended the ribs with such genuine passion that I trusted her. She was absolutely right. I wish I remembered her name because she was very kind.
My wife had a burger, which she let me try, and it was also excellent. Definitely not a frozen patty. There was even a sweet cat named Mimi hanging out, which added to the charm. 10/10 would recommend.
