The food is excellent and flavorful, and there is a lot of it for the price. We selected our food to go, and it was reasonably quick: was busy dinner time, so everybody wanted some. I will definitely be coming back here.

Shama Restaurant is one of the nastiest places I’ve ever walked into. The hygiene is absolutely disgusting. The workers handle food with their bare, dirty hands—no gloves, no care at all. Their nails and hands looked filthy, and honestly, I thought I was going to throw up just watching them prepare the food. On top of that, these same men take orders, serve, and touch everything without ever stopping to wash their hands. Or wearing gloves they dont give a single dam It’s beyond gross.
The food itself is just as bad—completely tasteless. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone can sit and eat there. Maybe some people have gotten used to the “flavor” of dirty hands mixed in, but to me, it was straight-up stomach-turning. And let’s be real, if the workers can’t even take care of their own hygienejust look at their teethyou can imagine what’s going on in the kitchen.
This place has zero standards, zero professionalism, and zero respect for customers’ health. It’s a breeding ground for illness, not a restaurant. I’ll be reporting them to the food authorities immediately, and I strongly warn anyone who cares about their health stay far away from this place.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was abysmal from the moment we walked in. The staff had no regard for basic customer etiquette, especially when interacting with women—rude and dismissive. It’s unbelievable that a place like this lacks even the most basic understanding of respect and politeness.
As for the food, it was just as terrible. I ordered naan, and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The naans were not only burnt, but they were also hard as rocks, making them nearly impossible to eat. The texture was awful, and they had a burnt aftertaste that ruined the whole meal.
The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. There are so many better options out there that actually care about their customers and put effort into both their food and service. This place doesn’t deserve your time or money.

Shama Restaurant is absolutely revolting. The two men working there have filthy hands and nails they were picking their noses and then touching the food! Watching them made me want to throw up. No gloves, no hygiene, just pure grossness. The food is tasteless and unsafe. Stay far away unless you want to eat filth.

We had ordered chicken tikka and chicken jalfrezi from here and the delivery was super quick. Both dishes were good but the quantity of kebab was less. The jalfrezi was floating with too much oil.

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, the prices are definitely on the higher side, so it’s more of a special-occasion spot than an everyday stop.

Very courteous , and friendly when I told them it was my first time and wanted to try everything. I had the rice with chicken, chicken kebab, and curry goat. It was good to my tasting and I would definitely try their quina bread with kebab meat next time. The bread was fresh and made to order.
I took the goat soup to go, I’ll review that later.

Everything was sitting in about a half inch of oil, including the vegetables, and did not taste good at all. Everything was spicy and otherwise bland. This was absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs.
