Tonight I got a duck rice and add an bamboo side dish and come with a free soup. Duck tasted so so and the soup was cold tasteless.

It’s really cheap and good value. The uncle who serves the food is really nice ( though I can’t understand his speaking mostly but I can feel his passion haha). I ordered 2 set menu and pork feet, the portion is really big and pretty delicious. Definitely worth a try if you are around the area and feeling traditional Cantonese.

Gave me old, cold duck even though I purchased a fresh one.
This careless female server gave my order to someone else.
Lied and gave me a cold duck from the back because there wasn’t anymore fresh hot duck.
Then the entire staff and manager lied and said they always give everyone cold duck.
They kept lying and gaslighting saying that serving cold duck is normal.
All they needed to do was apologize and give a fresh duck. But they took another cold duck from the back and microwaved it saying this is ok.
I have never in my Asian life been given cold roast duck.
Finally, a video that shows proof of horrible service.

Never again buy sticky rice in lotus leaf from here. How can they get it wrong for a basic food item. I bought some sticky rice displayed right on the cashier counter and thought I must struck gold because they were warm and fresh. It was only fool’s gold. The rice was wrapped facing the rough side of lotus leave instead of the smooth water repellent side, which means the mud and dust are now all over the rice I am about to eat. Yuck. If they don’t get one simple thing right, what can I say about others on the menu.

Best place for Chinese BBQ and Clay pot rice. No decor no vibe and no service. You good there for the food. Take out bbq is always good and pricing for lunch is good. Lunch menu has special items. Try the lobster noodle and clay pot rice. It will be helpful if you read Chinese because some of the special menu were written in Chinese only.

Who knew there was rable service past the takeout counter. My furst time here. Really wanted to love this place. But service was neglectful and hostile. They were definitely having a grumpypuss day. As for the food — it takes a nice picture!! But…the filet mignon and snowpeas, too salty, and the meat was spongy. The flavor of the sweet sour pork chops was good, very tasty, but there were lots of bone shards. The char sui meat was dark hard and dry, though it had good flavor…looked like it was a leftover. Really wanted to like this place bec its got a cheesy hole-the-wall vibe. Colorful menus plaster the walls. Loved the menu as decor. The quality of the food, sad. The quality of the service, also sad. Maybe it was chefs night off? The place was popular, every table filled and on a weekday nite too. The tea was great. Really cool gold teapots. No refills tho. Cash only. Parking avail in lot and on street.

They only accept card payments for purchases over $25, insisting I buy $25 worth of goods. I explained that I had to go out today and was just buying a quick lunch, so I couldn’t afford that much. I asked if they could accept the card payment this time, promising to be more careful next time, but I was

Always a great experience here. Food is awesome and service is out standing. Lobster was amazing so was rack of lamb. Mapo tofu was just ok. I have had better. Shrimp fried rice was exceptional. Beef curry tasted great but a bit too much potato. Crispy piglet was awesome. Skin was so crispy and crunchy. Goose reminded me of goose I had in Hong Kong
We shall return.

I came here a few times, found food here is pretty good. Price is reasonable, service is nothing one can write home about, unless you speak Cantonese.
I plan to come here again to buy a steam chicken and a roast duck soon.

Personally I like this place, but must admit, the atmosphere is like any cafe restaurant you find with a little smell of the roast duck and pork right next door. The food here is great though! (Which is probably more important anyway!) always can find a pleasant surprise with the dishes they can make. If you’re looking for something exquisite will require ordering ahead of time though, especially some seafoods, so call ahead if you’re looking for the more expensive stuff.
