Absolutely perfect!
The food was incredible. We had some delicious Pad Thai with chicken, a flavorful fried rice!!!!! a fantastic cashew chicken!!!! and a deeply-colored, savory stir-fry with beef, onions, and bell peppers. Every dish was expertly prepared, rich in color, and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere matched the quality of the meal. A perfect place for a fantastic dining experience! Is definitely family operated, as a local here in clearwater I appreciate the attention to the flavor and the service.

Obsessed with this new local Thai spot. The food is phenomenal and everything tasted incredible. But the decor and atmosphere? Perfection. The vibes are tasteful, beautiful, sophisticated, and elevated. You can feel the heart behind this place. Very important to support locally owned restaurants like this. A beautiful addition to the community 10/10.

Returned 5 months later & find the place still as disorganized as 3 days after opening. One server for the entire place, no WiFi. Decent food but price is not on the pictured menu. They turned many guests away 1 hour before closing time as they ran out of food in the kitchen.

Went on day 3 of opening, finally 3 years later! Every person said FINALLY as they came in. Nice to have more Asian fare in CWB vs usual fried stuff @ Frenchy’s. Food & service is good, but better when there is alcohol & desert. Small place. Only 35 max tight indoors.

Dinner tonight at Shallots on Clearwater Beach was nothing short of exceptional. From the first bite, it was clear that this kitchen takes Thai cuisine seriously. The dishes felt thoughtfully crafted and authentically prepared, not the mass-produced versions you often find elsewhere.

The dumplings in particular were a standout. Delicate, light, and clearly handmade, they had none of the heaviness of the frozen versions served at many restaurants. Each bite revealed layers of flavor—the fragrant spices, perfectly balanced seasoning, and the subtle complexity that only comes from careful preparation.

What impressed me most was the authenticity. The flavors were vibrant and intentional, allowing the spices and ingredients to speak for themselves rather than being masked by heavy sauces or shortcuts.

Shallots delivers a dining experience that feels both refined and deeply rooted in traditional Thai cooking. It’s the kind of place where you slow down, appreciate each bite, and leave already planning your next visit. ️

So good! We were so impressed with everything we got. Started with the satay, OMG! My 7 year old got braised chicken over rice and he was shoveling it in. I got a soup that was quite tasty and my husband got the green curry which he only just stopped short of licking the bowl.
Not the speediest, but the food is certainly worth the wait. Atmosphere is nice and the waiter made sure we were well supplied with water, which was appreciated after a day on the beach.

Great quaint dinner spot. Highly recommend eating here. The crab and chicken fried rice is delicious!! Also, the fried goyza was a great starter. It all was Full of Flavor and the service was excellent.

If I could I would give this place a 6 star. It is incredible, and the owners are the nicest, hardest working people. The food is incredible. It is like your Thailand mom made it.

We are locals and eat there 3 days a week.

Here is what it isn’t. Its not fast food, the owner is the only cook and she works in the kitchen. She is 70 years old and treats every dish like she makes it for one of her family. So if you are someone who demands fast service, this is not your place. If you are someone who is there to enjoy your company, wait for amazing food, there is no better place.

Last, and most dont know, it is BYOB. So grab a bottle of wine, chill out and enjoy this amazing experience. Currently no Cork Fee however I am trying to get her to change that.

Locals, please support this amazing place

Fantastic Thai classics on the beach. The food is fresh and delicious. It’s a cozy little spot and everything is prepared to order. Not a place where you’re going to be in and out in 30 minutes but well worth a relaxed dining experience enjoying food prepared with care.
