I’ll start with the positive — the burger itself had good flavor. That said, the bun was falling apart which made it difficult to eat and took away from the overall quality.
The restaurant was extremely busy, which was expected for the holiday, but service felt stretched beyond capacity. We had long gaps with no server check-ins and I ultimately had to find a different server just to take my payment.
One of the bigger disappointments for me was the homemade potato chips. I remembered loving them from previous visits, but this time they just didn’t deliver — either in freshness or flavor.
Seating also played a role in the experience. Our table was placed directly in a high-traffic walkway, and staff and guests were constantly passing by. The gentleman seated behind me had to apologize multiple times after bumping into me due to the tight spacing.
Lastly, the menu advertises a “large slice” of carrot cake for dessert. The portion we received didn’t really reflect that description, especially for the price.
I understand holiday crowds put pressure on any restaurant, but this visit felt like an off night across several areas — food consistency, service, and overall comfort.
I’ve had better experiences here in the past and hope this was just a one-time situation.
Brooklyn expertly walked us travelers through the extensive menu and specialties. The bold burger and crispy fries were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. I must return to explore more of the dishes and decor. Highly recommended.
This little spot my husband and I hit when we are in the area. No matter what time of day the service is incredible. The atmosphere is fun and laid back!
We had brunch plans at 2 spots this morning but meeting up with friends cancelled brunch and we ended up at lunch at this trusty spot. Our friends loved it.
Amanda behind the bar is amazing offering great suggestions on the menu and (the hidden menu) has some real treats. The potato chips made in house with ranch are incredible! Amanda is always the highlight we when we come. Her service is top notch! We will keep coming back because of her! Thanks for a great afternoon, service and making us feel at home!!
