Delicious! I absolutely love Indian food and I’ve tried probably every place within 15 miles lol. This place ranks pretty high up there. If you like your chicken tikka masala less on the sweet side and more on the spicy side, this is your place.
The service was great and they won extra points for being able to take a picture with good lighting. Speaking of lighting, the lighting here is much nicer than other places (you can actually see things!) and the decor is absolutely gorgeous. I used to love coming here as a child and I’m happy to be enjoying their food decades later as an adult 🙂

Our family have been dining here for the last 35 years or more, and it is the most incredible Indian food. The level of taste, selection of different meals, and quality of the food served here is exquisite. The staff are amazing and truly care about their guests, we have always been treated as family, and to us, they are family too.

Nice small cozy restaurant. Food is very good and the kebab we had was amazing.
The staff (which were sitting idle) here are little casual than professional but our server was very nice and humble. At one point the idle staff started playing some drama shows on the restaurant speakers
But the food quality is good. No doubt people make a lot of take outs here.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We had been here before several years ago and it wasn’t great. So glad we gave it another try!
The onion pakoras were heavenly. Chicken Tikka masala was tasty with a good level of spice. Really good plain naan bread. And the prices are very reasonable!

Don’t waste your money. Anyone who cooks Indian food for a while would know right away the problem in this picture. Any well cooked curry should never separate water like that. What a horrible taste and seemed like cooked by using tomato paste straight from a can. Shalimar, If you can’t serve good food you should close the restaurant.

The fact that this didn’t show up as a recommended restaurant should be a crime! I Got the chicken tikka makhani chef special to go. The flavor, price, & portion size were all 10/10 across the board. The service was average but not bad at all! We didn’t sit down to eat but the restaurants ambiance had a very classic sit down Indian restaurant vibe. If you are in the calabasas area I would recommend checking it out or taking the chef special to go for a rich and flavorful meal.
