From the moment we walked in, Shalimar BBQ & Grill impressed us. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we felt like we were in for something special. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing – a real pleasure.
The food? Simply outstanding. Every dish we tried had bold, beautifully balanced flavors. The naan came out fresh and tender, and the tandoori specials and biryanis hit that perfect combination of fragrant spices and satisfying richness. It’s clear the kitchen knows their craft.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for top-tier Indian cuisine in the Buffalo/Williamsville area, this place is a gem. I wholeheartedly give it five stars and highly recommend it!

Stopped in with my partner on a Tuesday night. Service is friendly and food came out pretty quickly. Pictured are the koobideh kebab, lamb biriyani, and butter chicken. Definitely a good option for Afghan/Indian food in the area.

Found this place by chance. Overall, the food quality and taste was good. Apparently this restaurant is under a brand new management. Service was excellent and staff was very courteous. Place is nice and clean.

I visited the buffet on a Wednesday and had a wonderful experience. The meal was hearty and delicious — a perfect blend of Afghan and Indian flavors, all cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly, especially Nuria, who was exceptionally welcoming and kind. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Wed and Sat dinner buffet $20 includes multiple entrees, appetizers, naan, tea and dessert. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Buffet foods replaced frequently and made in small batches.
