The food and sauce were delicious for the most part, but my friend got food poisoning from one of the snow crab pieces, and my other friend noticed that piece tasted fishy and off. Just be careful about anything that tastes too fishy or suspicious. I’m hoping this location will enact better food safety protocols, especially as a restaurant that serves seafood.

One of the Best Seafood restaurants in the Boston area. Awesome drinks except the margarita. The food was amazing. Cajun was the best seasoning. Crab, Lobster and Shrimp are too good. Corn and bread with Cajun seasoning is the best thing you will ever do to your taste buds. A little expensive but definitely worth it. I would recommend visiting this place. Thanks.

Seriously this is all you get for $30+. I can’t even tell if it’s lobster or crab. I will never come back here. I’m leaving the review so there won’t be more people who get disappointed at what you pay for

Very good seafood boil and fried options! However, price wise is abit higher end given it does not come with any sides for the boil. The portion here is also smaller compared to other outlets of shaking crab. My personal favorite for the fried option is cajun! They were on-point!

Location is central, we ate at the second floor and the floor was sticky as we were walking toward our table=>the first impression wasn’t the cleanest restaurant…. We had a crab roll that was tasty, combined with a garlic noodle dish it was quite filling.

We really enjoyed our time at the Shaking Crab. The Staff were very attentive to our needs (two children) and brought high chairs and ensured that we were comfortably situated. The food was good and reasonably priced. We got one of the Meals for four and were satisfied with the quantity and quality. The restaurant doesn’t boast any fancy accommodations, but the interior is comfortable and feels more like dining at home than dining out.
