Hair in my food, potato wasn’t done, the sauce tasted TERRIBLE looks like sewage water, and the crawfish was overcooked! So disappointed because I used to get crawfish from here all the time in 2024. Think I’ll stick to twisted crab.

Bentley was very attentive and professional. Anne was warm and welcoming at the front. Overall a great experience and customer service. Restaurant wasn’t the warmest amidst the low temperatures. I will definitely be back. 10/10 i would recommend!

I’m not big in seafood but my husband is. I got the chicken tender basket and hushpuppies which was pretty good. My husband enjoyed his bucket of crab legs and crayfish. Service was great food was nice and hot. Pretty neat little place to eat if you like seafood.

We had lunch at this restaurant. At first, we were sceptical. After a very charming waiter showed us to our table and took our drink orders, the ice was broken and we felt very comfortable. We ordered three set menus and each one was fantastic! We were surprised with a seafood cooking bag – the taste was phenomenal and we couldn’t finish it, there was just too much. The seafood was fresh and the taste was perfect! We would love to come back.

All in all the food was extremely tasty! Actually being realistic the food had some serious flavor. My only complaint, food portion for the price! Other than that being my only complaint, I think food was great. We were seated quickly, our waitress was great, and the service was excellent. I definitely will be eating here again.

The snow crab legs weren’t dripping with sauce like I usually like it to be, but there was enough sauce there to dip my boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes in seasoning. Our waiter was full of humor. The writings all over the walls gave the Shaking Crab a charming appeal. I enjoyed the visit.

Great bagged boils here! The flavor is amazing. The fried baskets are pretty much just that if you’re not big in seafood. Start of with popcorn at your table much like restaurants do with peanuts; Very unique. There is writing all over the walls! Not graffiti per day but more like random bathroom stall random scribble EVERYWHERE. Little to no wait for lunch and the service was great.

I love seafood, especially crab. But last night’s visit to this restaurant just didn’t light a fire. Although their signature shaking crab combination was smothered is their signature sauce, one order was salty while another order taste bland. our order of chicken wings, unfried but soaked in sauce, were dry on the inside. Maybe this is the way they are but I was not a fan. Our order of fried chicken strips and broccoli was also not appealing. And if you do not want your steamed broccoli swimming in their signature sauce, make it known early with your order. Overall: I was not impressed and my $131.86 bill (this included Chesapeake’ food and services taxes) added to my review.

My boyfriend and I came here a little over a week ago with some family and we had a great time our server was very nice, funny and helpful. The food was great and had pretty good portion sizes too especially for a bag of seafood. I got the bag of shrimp with corn and potatoes with the Cajun sauce and it was great. Very nice environment and atmosphere here would definitely come back again.
