I love Shakey’s, it’s my treat whenever in Oroville. It’s a throwback to pizza in the 90s, get a little pizza and some mojos, can’t beat it. The employees are nice, and the vibe is laid back.

The one-hr drive was worth it. There were not so good comments here but our visit was delightful. Food was awesome!

This is what going out for pizza was like as a kid in the 80s. Classic video games. Phenomenal pizza. Crispy non greasy crust. Delicious Fried Chicken. Drove 90 minutes just to eat here.

Talk about a throwback! As soon as I found out that Shakey’s Pizza still existed and there was a location nearby, I made the trek the next day. Unfortunately, things weren’t the same as it was when I was a kid in the 90s. Shocker. They didn’t have the buffet and they no longer have the cinnamon rolls. But, they still have those unique potato rounds that remind me of heavily seasoned pommes soufflées.
Pizza was made to order so it was piping hot and goo’ing cheese. Good pizza. Good service. Good vibes. Worth the drive.

Has alot of arcade video game cabinets. There are not fully authentic but are for the most part. They have modern LCD screens. Crusin USA, centipede, donkey Kong, teenage mutant ninja turtles, Qbert and a William multi game that has many like joust. Downside is that it does require quarters to play. May if the owner of the store sees this then I would ask to set them to free play so the kids can enjoy the action.

The pizza was awesome. Haven’t eaten there in over 15 years. Fried Chicken, outstanding. Most surprising was the mojos. The best potatoes I’ve eaten in my life. And I’m a huge fan of French fries.

It was so exciting to find out that there was a Shakeys still in existence. We drove about an hour and 45 minutes from Sacramento to Oroville to see if it was as good as we remembered, and it was. We bought one pie for there and one “to go”. The place was clean and orderly (including immaculate bathrooms), the staff was amazing, and the pie was superb.

A blast from the past, I haven’t eaten at Shakey’s Pizza for 20+ years. I was very surprised to see an open Shakey’s in Northern California. I had a pepperoni pizza and fried chicken with flips. The pizza was as delicious as I remembered it and the fried chicken and flips were to die for, yum! If you are on Oroville or passing through, stop at Shakey’s, you won’t be disappointed, two thumbs up!
