WE ARE REINVENTING THE TACO ™ Shaker & Peel located in oldsmar florida, is a temple to the reinvented taco. We’re a one-of-a-kind taco concept serving chef driven tacos, salads bowls and crafted beverages in a unique & funky setting. Founded on the idea that tacos don’t have to be associated with Tex-Mex cuisine and can be made with the same care and quality ingredients as fine dining, Shaker & Peel is where “anything goes” meets the “art of the taco”. Some cool things about us: we use only the freshest ingredients available reinventing tacos to a whole new level. We make our own organic tortillas, slow roast free range chickens and grass fed beef, use lots of small batch local liquor in our cocktails, and make everything from scratch.

This was a 10/10 dinner experience. I haven’t posted a review in a while but this place was fire!!! Everything tasted delish. They were out of drinks that we wanted but they accommodate us well and recommended us something else. We didn’t get to go to the Strawberry Festival this year and decided to get the Plant City Strawberry Churro to make up for it. I highly recommend everyone to get this! It was amazing. I could get a bucket of those.

The food was excellent! They have a nice variety of foods and drinks to choose from. Their tacos are perfection. Our server, Alex, was the best and the staff were all very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was great! I’m definitely coming back again very soon.

Unfortunately, every taco I tried was much too spicy for my taste, which overpowered the flavors and made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. While the food wasn’t quite right for me, I can see that others who enjoy heat would probably love it. Because of the spice level, I probably won’t be returning, but I can definitely recommend it to anyone who likes bold, fiery flavors.

Shaker and Peel is an awesome spot for a get together with friends and family. The portions are adequate, the food is very tasty and they offer a great variety for all pallets.
The Queso Fun-Dido and chips was delicious. Everything we order was delicious. Keep in mind when you are ordering Taco’s you are getting one taco per order.
Highly recommended place for all to have a good time.

Had a great experience overall. James was our server, and even though he’s new, he did an excellent job—attentive, friendly, and very professional. You’d never guess he was new. The food was delicious: the volcano shrimp taco was packed with flavor, the beet salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the Old Fashioned was made just right. WOW!!! This place is by far one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a very long time! Izzy our server went above and beyond to make our first time rememerable. Also the manager Lexi made sure we we taken care of and even got a free appetizer for our first visit. The tacos were out of this world and mocktails were so good we a table full. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I just want to say from the second we walked into the door till the moment we were face deep in our tacos, this place is where you want to be! Mikayla was absolutely one of the best severs you could ever wish for. She walked us through the menu because we hadn’t been here before and I’m glad she did. Thanks so o her recommendations we tried the un-beet-able beets as well as a few speciality drinks and menu items. If you ever come here ask for Mikayla because she will without a doubt make this a place worth dinning. And ofcourse an honorable mention to the staff and kitchen crew as none of this would be possible without their dedication to making this an experience worth having!! Thank you so much!!

In town for a work conference. We had about a 15 top on Taco Tuesday. Very impressed with the speed and accuracy of service on such a busy night. We came in before the rush around 5pm. By 530pm folks were lined up waiting for seating, they didnt have to wait long due to the service speed. The kitchen was cranking and definitely adequately staffed. Our server Dani was incredible. She remembered our entire parties first names and addressed us as such. Not sure if this is policy for a larger party or just her being a rockstar, wonderful young lady. We had nearly everything on the menu including appetizers. Be sure to check out the specials and taco tue menu. House margaritas were excellent. Atmosphere was warm yet functional. Parking was easy right out front. Bathroom was spotless. Bartenders were attentive and quick. Food came out faster than we could order it, yet was very fresh and appealing. Whenever you eat with corporate folks you dont know, its very nice to visit somewhere that can clearly accommodate. Making our “work” dinner smooth and not awkward wait times. We live in north Florida however have family in Tarpon Springs. We will be back for sure. Nice job everyone, and compliments to the kitchen.

Cool spot for some great tacos and cold drinks! Jacob hooked us up with a variety of delicious tacos on Taco Tuesday! Our favorites were the Korean BBQ, Kobe Cheeseburger and the Jerk Chicken. Enjoyed some chips, salsa, and queso. Great spot with indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Will return.
