We always enjoy our trips to Shake Shack. Awesome burgers. Good fries. This was my first time dining in at this location that serves Chicago’s trendy West Loop area, located just outside the CTA green line station at Lake and Morgan. I should have told someone this when I was there, but I didn’t think about it until afterward. The water in the bathroom is so scorching hot. This could be very dangerous for a small child or someone not paying attention. Please adjust the water temperature!

Just had the most amazing meal at Shake Shack in the West Loop! I tried the avocado bacon chicken sandwich, and it was seriously mouth-watering. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the avocado and bacon combo was *chef’s kiss*.
And let’s talk about the cheese fries—crispy, cheesy, and totally addictive. Everything was so delicious; but what really made the experience great was the awesome customer service. Iridian was super helpful and friendly!

I’m so frustrated and annoyed by meal I could shed a tear. Literally been up since 7am moving across the state. I haven’t eaten all day. Decided I would just quickly get some chicken bites and fries from shake shack and keep it moving as I’ve never had any issues with food quality in NYC/Jersey when I’ve eaten there. I’m going to assume they need to change their fryer oil because this entire meal was disgusting and inedible. The fries were very over cooked with a terrible aftertaste. The chicken bite were so greasy by the time I got the bottom was a layer of grease soaking up the bottom of the box. I couldn’t even eat the rest of my meal, just threw it away. The dirty grease made everything taste disgusting. Now I’m lying in bed still hungry but also nauseous/sick from the food. I have no plans on coming to this location again. Truly a waste of $35, I’m so hurt.

If you love to get a burger with a shake, then this is a great spot. Their simple smashed burger with the thick delicious shake is a great mix. Gotta admit that the portions of sandwiches are small and you will need more than one sometimes, but they worth the try. I would prefer that the restaurant is enlisted as $$ instead of $ thought to be more precise of what you will be paying to be satisfied. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious, but the crust is a little bit extra salty. Other than that, i loved both beef and fried chicken sandwiches. The shake is very good in flavor and thickness, and you can add malt powder for 50c.

Right off the Green Line and steps to so much in West Loop, it’s a great location.
This was my first time having Shake Shack and it was yummy. I was happy they have crinkle fries but I took a star off because I had to eat them cold. Was told if I sit outside my tray would be brought to me and after about 15 minutes I go inside to see it sitting in the counter waiting for me to pick it up. Even though the fries were warm-ish they were still tasty. Also I was bummed to find the mushroom burger is not vegan and can’t be made vegan because the cheese is inside.
Lemonade is refreshing, if come back just for that and some hot fries.

The burgers we’re great. The smokeshake was actually very light but I would recommend doing a double Patty. The fries with cheese were fantastic. I was actually pretty surprised with how the fries came out. The bacon on the smokeshake was perfectly cooked.

The service was fast and not crowded at all. The double burger was pretty good but I like EPIC more BUT EPIC costs more. Also the bacon was only okay and not enough. One last thing was the young man at the counter could not answer my question of what can be placed on the burger and that was annoying as I grew up being taught that the correct answer was that I may not know but that I would find someone who does know.
