French onion soup burger. Burger is okay. Even looked a little like the advertisement.
Fries. Unremarkable and uneaten. Grocery store freezer section fries.
Manager saw that fries were uneaten and we discussed the meal. He kindly offered to make me a Shack Burger and onion rings to go. This was a really nice gesture. Thanks to management for this kind offer to “make my visit better”.
I was bummed out since we missed out…but they were so sweet and without hesitation, James went out of his way. He went on to check to see if there were any avaliable ingredients to make a couple for me and my family! Best location and absolutely amazing staff! Never disappointed when we visit this location. Totally worth it. Thanks so much for the Shakes! They were amazing. Hope they bring them back again soon.
Anyway, on to the good. The burger was fresh. The bun was soft and the topping were good. I would prefer shredded lettuce instead of leaf lettuce. It’s a small burger. Do not arrive expecting a Whataburger or Fudds burger. The fries were good, especially for what I consider frozen fries. The restaurant was clean. I did not like the mango lemonade. It was very light on the sweet.
The large drinks are $4.99 with free refills. I though the drink price was way too expensive. My whole meal with burger, fries, and a drink was $17.29.
I will probably go again, but it is not on the top of my list.
I honestly don’t understand how people keep eating here. In my case, it was the only nearby option, but after this experience, which feels like being ripped off, I’d rather skip a meal than give my money to a place that treats customers this way.
Pictured is the Avocado Burger and cheese fries. Will be back again thank you
I usually come here once every few weeks. Experience and food have been good. Pretty average and standard across all Shake Shack. Today, I ordered a Smokeshack burger to-go on the app on my way home. I picked up the burger, came home, unwrapped the burger only to find that someone already took a bite out of it. I couldn’t believe it. I examined the burger closely to make sure it wasn’t just a weird shape that was missing. Nope. It was missing an almost perfectly round portion of the burger with little indention for the teeth marks.
I called the store and asked for a refund. I received the refund but to add insult to injury, the manager was skeptical and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. She mentioned that it’s an open space and people can watch the burgers being made. That would be great had I ordered at the restaurant.
Long story short; I’m not coming here again. I’m generally a fan of Shake Shack but to come home with a half eaten burger that I paid for and for the store manager calling me a liar left a bad taste in my mouth.
If you do eat here, make sure the burger you received didn’t have one of the employees take a bite out of it or even spit in your food.
