Did You Z That!
Me and my wife stopped here on a day-trip to Santa Monica, we were starving and having tried Shake Shack in the past but in Florida, we gave here a try.
I’m glad we did.

The food:
I went for the Double SmokeStack with fries and a tiramisu shake.
My wife had a VegeStack with cheese fries and a coffee shake.

The food was really nice and you can tell was made fresh, with the burger being juicey and fries being hot and freshly made. The milkshakes were equally good, especially the tiramisu, highly recommend it.

The service;
The server was nice enough and food arrived promptly, no complaints.

Atmosphere;
It wasn’t bad, pretty quiet and enough where you can talk with the person/s you’re with.

OVERALL:
It was around $52 for everything mentioned above which you could say the price is around the same you’d probably pay for Five Guys. The food was very good, however I do feel that the Florida Shake Shack was better which the burger was juicy enough that I didn’t need sauce. Whereas this one, I felt like I needed to dip the burger in sauce to get the full flavour and soak up the patties.

Props for Shake Shack suppling free water and on demand too.

Every dish was packed with amazing flavor. The soft, airy rolls and perfectly seasoned meat paired wonderfully, and the fresh greens added a great touch. A truly satisfying meal from start to finish!

This Shake Shack on Wilshire and Fifth feels right at home under the California sun. Housed in a mid-century style building, it attracts a nice mix of locals and tourists. I especially appreciate that they offer not one but two solid vegetarian burger options (the mushroom and the black bean patty) while still being a go-to spot for classic burger lovers. You need also to give a try to their lemonade. Four stars on food as I always find their burgers a little bit too salty to my taste

Last, big kudos to the team here—the service is consistently warm and welcoming. A great addition to Santa Monica!

5 Stars – Shake Shack Santa Monica is a VIBE!

First off, shout out to the kindest manager ever—hooked us up with a free meal and made our day! Super rare to find that kind of genuine hospitality these days. The entire staff was friendly, and the place was spotless—big points for a clean facility!

Now let’s talk FOOD… BOMB. We got three burgers, cheese fries (of course), and a banana shake that was next-level—think real banana chunks, not that fake syrup stuff. The burger? Juicy, flavorful, and felt like a cleaner, tastier version of In-N-Out (yeah, we said it). No heavy grease, just perfectly balanced flavor.

And guess what? They offer a military discount. As a veteran, that means a lot—thank you, Shake Shack!

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Santa Monica. It’s good vibes, great food, and even better people.

And yes, I’m not suppose to be eating meat, but a burger every now in then is A MUST. Yum.

If you like tiny portions, priced high and served slowly, you’ve come to the right place. I went late in the day and the place was empty, but it still took over 20 minutes to get two burgers. It looked like they just threw the box into the bag because they has slid apart, making a nice mess for me to clean up. Basically, the only reason to go to Shake Shack is to get custard. The burgers are a rip and the fries aren’t even good. They do have a hip vibe, I’ll grant them that. I go there every six or eight months, hoping things have changed, but I am always disappointed.

My partner and I were really craving a good burger, he really loves Shake Shack so it was an obvious choice. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. My partner eats meat, while I don’t eat meat or dairy, so I was excited to see they offered a couple of veggie burger options.

However, one of the veggie burgers was sold out, leaving only the ’Shroom Burger available. I’m usually a bit hesitant with mushroom-based patties, but I was hungry and willing to give it a chance. Unfortunately, the ’Shroom Burger has cheese inside the crispy mushroom patty—something that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. I have a dairy allergy, so I couldn’t eat it.

To their credit, the staff were very kind and offered a refund, which we appreciated (though we declined). We also overheard that this issue has come up before, so it might be helpful if the menu clarified the ingredients more clearly.

Delicious burgers all around. Buns were soft and fluffy, patties were beautifully seasoned and the salad complemented the bburger just right. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy and well seasoned.
Would recommend.
