Shoutout to Jorge at Shake Shack! He went above and beyond to make sure I was completely taken care of. From start to finish, his service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. It’s rare to encounter someone who makes your experience feel personalized and seamless, and Gabby absolutely nailed it. Thanks for making my visit such a great one—I’ll definitely be coming back!
When I walked up and politely said, “Hi, can I order?” she hit me with the most sarcastic response: “Yeah, sure. Great. Perfect. What would you like?” ( my exact face).
At that point, I asked her straight up if there was an issue—like, should I even be ordering? That’s when she toned it down and finally took my order.
Here’s the thing: I believe strongly in customer service. No matter how little we get paid in this country or how much work we’re expected to do, respect and kindness cost nothing. A smile and kindness, goes a long way.
On top of that, the food was absolutely terrible. If you’re expecting a decent cheeseburger with the usual condiments, don’t bother. I asked the girl if the cheeseburger came with anything else, and she flat-out said, “No. Just cheese, the patty, and the bun.” That’s it.
I also ordered cheese fries, and let me tell you, they gave me the saddest little drizzle of “cheese” I’ve ever seen. If you want to waste your money, isn’t the place to do it.
If I were you, I’d skip Shake Shack completely and head straight to Elevation Burger, upstairs by Dick’s Sporting Goods. Their cheeseburgers are on another level, the cheese fries are loaded with Elevation sauce, and you can even top them with jalapeños — absolutely to die for.
No wonder I never went back to shake shack. I even wonder why they opened up one when there’s a perfectly good cheeseburger joint on the second floor of this mall.
