This store is in the 3rd floor food court of Newport mall. There are self ordering kiosks and registers to order with cashier. Nice open dining space. But there are only few tables to dine-in.
I put in an order via mobile app for pick up. We went to the store in couple of minutes. Waited about fifteen minutes to get my order. Finally I went to the counter and asked one of the staff member about my order. They brought it out from the back. It appears that they had already called my name before I got to the store. They saw me standing for 15 minutes, but never bothered to ask. I tried to ask for some ketchup packs and the lady turned away like she was horrified. Such horrible service. The taste of the chicken bites and fries were fine, but I am going to avoid this store for the disspointing service.

I really didn’t want to give 3 stars because I love this chain, but forgive me, the burger that is advertised as 900+ calories was so small and “raw” this time that I can’t give it more. Overall a good place, but on my last visit the guys didn’t do a good job.

Shake Shack at Newport Mall is a great stop when you’re craving a juicy burger and crispy crinkle-cut fries. The service is usually quick and the staff are polite. Seating can be a bit limited during busy hours, especially on weekends. I love their ShackBurger and the shakes are always a treat. A bit on the pricey side for fast food, but the quality makes up for it. Convenient location inside the mall — perfect for a quick bite after shopping.

We’ve eaten here a few times, and the food is consistently great — burgers, fries, everything tastes just like at other Shake Shack locations! Plenty of seating on the mall level makes it super convenient to grab a bite.

RAW BURGERS!!! I have hd shack shake burgers at other locations and they are great. But this location quality of burgers is POOR! They need to assemble the burgers better, it was all over the place.

This was the worst experience of food service. I ordered through DoorDash and the driver handed me the bag where he told me that the drink was slightly spilled because the employee sealed it inside the bag. I’ve always ordered from restaurants before and they never put the drink inside the bag because of accidents like these. No big deal, I walked a couple of steps inside my home and the whole bag soaked and all my food fell on the entire floor. The lemonade created a huge mess on my living room and my chicken bites and burger fell onto the floor and were soaked. I am never ordering from here again.

This happened 2nd time when I ordered from Newport. I ordered shake shack classy chocolate shake, the taste was off and consistency was not good. I prefer Shake Shack for their thick chocolate shakes and would expect same quality when I walk in to any Outlet throughout. Either Newport outlet has poor shakes or Boston outlets have better..
