This is literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And it probably is the best shake that I’ve ever had. I had the double K shack burger, and then I also had acookies and cream shake and fries. I did put the fries in the air fryer because i wanted them extra crispy. I did get carry out. I highly recommend this place!
The staff was also quite friendly and it was a nice vibe when I went inside to pick up my meal. Y’all should check it out!

Sad little burger, even sadder bacon. The bacon wasn’t cooked very much, and the burger was rare cold center. Maybe you’d risk that at home if you had sourced your own meat, but restaurant ground beef probably should be cooked. Giving 2 stars for polite people, and that my kids loved their shakes and chicken nuggets! After loving NY locations and even Lee’s Summit location, I really expected to like this more!

Tyler made a suggestion for me after I told him I couldn’t eat burgers or anything spicy. No one was there so he came out and pointed out some options and said they were “”really good.” And they were!!
While Tyler was making my sandwich, KB came out and chatted with me. She said this location is pretty new, and that, in her opinion, everything on the menu is delicious. Sam was watching. She’s the assistant general manager. I told her what a great team she had and she grinned and said, “I’m so glad they were able to make you first visit an excellent one!

We visited for the first time and had a great experience overall. The restaurant was clean, and the staff greeted us right away when we walked in, which made us feel welcome. Our food came out quickly and was nice and hot. The K-Burger was a little small, but it was delicious and full of flavor. The K-Fries with cheese were very good, and the True Love Shake was so good — definitely a highlight of the meal! Overall, it was a really positive first dine-in experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Delicious burgers, loved every bite. Service was very friendly, with the General Manager Becca personally coming to our table and introducing herself, making sure we had everything we needed, and then proceeded to give us a $5 off coupon just because. Very very lovely experience. It reminds me of the burgers I got at Winsteads in my younger days.

Was really looking forward to going to this place which makes this review so disappointing. The burger and shake were really good so if I wen’t back thats all I would get. The fries were bad with bad cheese sauce. I’m not sure how you mess up a hot dog but they did. Burned and my daughter didn’t eat it. I went with my 9 year old daughter. We split fries, split a shake, she got a hot dog, I got a burger and we drank water and it was $30. I don’t mind paying a premium for good food but this isn’t it.

Checked out the new Shake Shack in Merriam and honestly, I might move in. The place was spotless, like, “my mom would approve” spotless. Even the bathroom was so clean I half expected someone to hand me a mint on the way out.
The staff? Super friendly. They actually looked happy to be there, which is rare these days. And the French Onion Burger… wow. If I could write it a love letter, I would. Juicy, cheesy, caramelized onion-y perfection.
Overall, 10/10. Good food, good vibes, and now my new excuse for “forgetting” to cook dinner.

There was a very friendly worker straightening up in the lobby and was very helpful! Unfortunately when we got our food all of our buns were cold and soggy (3 orders), as if they were pulled from the freezer and they attempted to defrost them fast. Fries were pretty good. We also order onion rings and got 5 or so rings. Unfortunately do not recommend for the price we all paid.

When we got our food, all of our buns were cold—it seemed like they had been pulled from the freezer and quickly defrosted. My child ordered a grilled sandwich, and both sides of the bread were burnt.
The Merriam location is closer than the Leawood one, so we were excited about the new location. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we don’t think we would return to the Merriam location.
